Just to warn you, I was a big loser in high school. Like, major. I never went to parties, never went out, never had a real boyfriend, just the bag boys I used to make out with in the breakroom. And one dairy guy. Although, once my mother started working more during my senior year, I started sneaking my friends over to hang out after school. ANYWAY, click the cut and learn how big of a nerd/loser/whatever I really was.

26 Questions About Your High School Days
1. Who was your best friend?
Charla. But she was lucky enough to attend a private school. I went to a public school and it SUCKED. Seriously, halfway through my first day, my thought was “I have four more years of this? I want to cry.”
2. What sports did you play?
No sports. I kept in shape by dancing. A lot. Usually to music videos I’d taped from MTV or VH1, but mostly Mickey Mouse Club dance/music/video numbers. I can still do the steps to some of the songs. New Kids on the Block stuff, too.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
I didn’t drive.
4. It’s Friday night, where were you?
I was at work, then at home, having no life. Well, if Charla was home, then she and I were on the phone with each other, making up “stories” (early novelist training?), watching the T.G.I.F. (Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, etc.), and catching each other up on the drama in our respective schools.
5. Were you a party animal?
Not at all. I wasn’t allowed.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
No.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
No, but I was on the drama club and stage crew during the first half of my senior year.
8. Were you a nerd?
Yes. Big time. I had honors and advanced placement classes and all the “regular” kids hated the honors kids.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
No. Actually, I am not sure we even had one…
11. Who was your favorite teacher?
Mr. Grubelnick (9th grade honors biology), Mr. Felon (10th grade honors chemistry, 12th grade physics), Miss Wheeler (12 grade AP English)
Now, if you want to talk teachers I liked to make fun of: Mr. Young (10th grade health), Mrs. Trefts (11th grade something or other, 12th grade Home Nursing/something else)
12. Who was your home room teacher?
Oh God. I remember Mrs. Wherry for 11th and 12th, couldn’t tell you who for 9th and 10th. I remember hanging out in Mrs. Wherry’s class one afternoon (she was the home ec teacher, so homeroom was in a classroom with refridgerators and stoves), and she’d shared this banana cream cake something or other she’d made. That was the last time I remember actually liking bananas as food.
13. What was your school’s full name?
John Adams High School.
14. School mascot?
Rebel.
15. Did you go to Prom?
Yes.

I had no date. I just went for the souvenirs.
17. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
HELL NO.
18. What do you remember most about graduation?
Lots of people cheering (not for me), camera flashes, Pomp and Circumstance. I remember thinking this guy (I think his name was Brian) was kind of cute and why hadn’t I noticed how cool he was all year? None of my pictures came out well, my camera picked that night to start dying.
19. Where were you on senior skip day?
Did we have that? I remember skipping after one of the graduation rehearsals. We went up to Buckeye and shopped and ate and went to Tonya’s house. Or was Tonya’s house a different day? Whatever, it was fun.
20. Did you have a job your senior year?
Yes, Russo’s Stop N Shop.
21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
The senior lunchroom.

23. What did you do after graduation?
Nothing.
24 When did you graduate?
June 1993
25. Have you kept in touch with anyone from high school since graduating?
crimsonghost_oh all the time. I hear from a few friends who were older than me from time to time as well.
26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
… about that. Seeing as 2003 has passed and NO ONE bothered to contact me about a reunion (IF we had one at all, that is), then I’d say nope.
I want to do a Jr.High/Intermediate/Middle School/whatever the eff it’s called these days one. Maybe I’ll make up one. Wait ’til you read how much life sucked for me THEN. HAHAHAHAA.
ahem.
