This is the first year I decided to do a themed Christmas tree.
Most years, I throw on a hodge-podge of ornaments: nutcrackers, snow people, bows, candy canes, trains, anything I’ve collected over the years.
It was weird, leaving all of those in the box so that I could stay true to my theme.
I’m happy how the tree came out. I’ve stopped using garland, and I purchased a pre-lit tree a couple of years ago after my poor crooked free tree finally fell in 2009. Here’s my 2011 Christmas Tree:
Any guesses as to the theme yet?
Let me give you a few hints.
Still, I had to add this one:
It wouldn’t be a true tree of mine without the banana ornament.
What a gorgeous tree! Great decorating!

Thank you, Joy! It's small, but I like it. Also, Christmas is about the only time I have decent decorating taste! π

Love Love the themed tree…..I am trying to figure out how the hell to keep my toddler from removing all my ornaments off the dang tree….all the good ones are at the top of the tree and the bottom of the tree looks so bare…..
I remember those days. I had a toddler AND cats, so you can just imagine what mind must have looked like.

Nice tree, but what more NICE PICS! I wish you could be my photographer. My picture taking skills are a HUGE…epic fail. Too bad we don't live doors apart. You definitely be hired! Love the theme.

Aww, thank you. Honestly, it comes from having a huge memory card and just taking a billion pix til I find some that I like! π I just experiment all the time, and sometimes I get lucky. π

Haha, Ronni, I am so glad to following someone who "gets" Disneyland and Disney like I do!

Aww, thanks! π I definitely get Disney like you do. I LOVE it.
I got my ornaments from Disney World, the Disney Store, disneystore.com, and some of them were gifts. I was tempted to get the Tinkerbell tree topper, but the red angel's been in my family for many years and I didn't want to not use her.
