!!!! Revisited

On November 21, 2005, I posted an OMG post, and promised you details soon.

Soon is NOW.

In November, I got the opportunity to speak with literary agent Ethan Ellenberg. He’s such a great guy and had a lot of nice things to say about my book. The revisions (which there weren’t many at all) were things I was completely on board with. I mailed them to him and waited relatively patiently for him to get back to me. I heard from him over the weekend. He’s happy with my revisions and wants to move forward! πŸ™‚

Today, I am officially signing with The Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency. I am honored and excited to be working with such a great agent!

I’m still in a state of shock/disbelief/excitement. πŸ™‚

Today is a GOOD day.

So, okay. (Picture)

Just a few things:

  • I am not pregnant.
  • While it’s exciting that OSU beat Michigan, it really isn’t that big of a deal to me.
  • Burger King? Please! I’m a McDonalds girl! πŸ˜€

But…
Most of you know that I write.
Something exciting is in the works with the novel I’ve been shopping around.
I’m seriously superstitious, however, so I don’t want to spill the beans until things are more official.

That’s all I can say right now. Stay tuned for more.

And moving on…

I hope those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a nice one. We did. I got to eat lots of good food, relax, and read! Reading is always good. πŸ™‚ So is yummy homecooked food, like this:

Mmm, yummmm. πŸ™‚

I got a random cold about 4:30am Tuesday. I woke up with a sore throat, but managed to go back to sleep. When I got up for work, I was pretty stuffed up. Now, I’m sneezing and coughing a lot. This truly did come out of no where. Right now, my track record is catching a cold every other week. Yay.

And… THE CHRISTMAS SEASON is officially here! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Anyone planning on fighting the crowds at Black Friday? This will be the first year I’m skipping out in a LONG time. But it’s okay. This is my favorite season–well, minus the snow, of course. But you know, I can deal with the snow for now. Can you believe that Christmas is in a little over a month? I have to get going on my shopping and Christmas card sending. And… now it’s okay to put up the Christmas tree–that should be happening soon because on December 10th, Aidan goes to stay with his grandmother for two weeks. I want the tree up before he leaves. But…when he’s gone, I plan to do all of HIS shopping. You see, Aidan is starting to remember and associate things, and if I take him along when I buy his presents, he’ll either want them right away, or he’ll ask for them.

Although… the Nativity set did come on Monday and *I* couldn’t resist opening it, along with the extra shepherds. Aidan is playing with them now–it is the most precious thing ever. πŸ™‚ Now I want to get him the Santa and the Sleigh…or the Tree Lighting, but we’ll see about that. The free shipping promo ended, so unless they have another, it’s doubtful that I’ll buy anything else from Fisher-Price.com. Chris was thinking of getting him the farm, which would be totally neat for me him. Yes, HIM. Meaning Aidan. Um, yeah.

**innocent look**

I’m going to go. Chris just farted and now the loft stinks. : Good night!! πŸ˜€

So, okay…

Just to let you know, I’m a bit really superstitious, so I’m not going to divulge a lot of detail yet. But it seems that most of you have figured things out, and I want to thank you for your congratulations and well wishes!

I will post officially soon, I promise. In the meantime, I have writing to do! :)

I LOVE the Ohio State Fair!! (Pictures)

I had such an amazing time at the Fair today! We didn’t get there ’til really late. It was hot and crowded. Not horribly, though. Heh. Bob, Chris, Aidan and I got there first. They parked us with the campers which I thought was really weird, but whatever. After a few failed attempts, we finally made our way into the fair. We went in through a side entrance and totally could have gotten away with not paying–had we not pre-bought our tickets at Kroger! HAHA. Irony, such a funny thing, eh?

So we got something to drink and floated through the Commercial building. It was crowded but air-conditioned at least. Then Aidan got really mad and hungry so we left to get him some food. Craig called while we were at the stand, saying he’d arrived with Theresa and Tom. They met us there. And we went on from there. πŸ™‚

We ate and rode and laughed and got rained on. Total blast. πŸ˜€

You guys will be so proud of me. Remember the video of the crazy ride from a couple of entries ago? I GOT ON IT TODAY! Yes, I rode the Power Surge. Craig paid for me, Bob, and Tom to ride it, so we did.

OH EM GEE IT WAS THE KEWLEST RIDE EVAR!!!11ONEone!

Seriously, it kicked some serious bootay. It was just… so random. Lots of flipping and turning and you really have no idea where you’re going or anything. It was fantastic!!! I was very mildly dizzy when I got off, and I was over it in about 15 seconds.

I guess after Mission Space (at Disneyworld), these rides are nothing, hahaha.

Bob and I also rode the Orbiter and the Scrambler. The Scrambler is the longest ride evarrrrr. Totally awesome. I am so glad I have a friend who will ride all those crazy twisty-turny rides with me. Tina didn’t show up, so I was so happy when Bob was willing to join me, yay. Next year, he and I are getting the wristbands and going ride crazy. THAT will be sweeeet.

I have tons of pictures and some video too, so I guess I should go ahead and get to ’em, huh? πŸ™‚

Bob and me on The Orbiter!!! WOOHOO!!!
