Aidan can’t quite pronounce the Ss at the beginning of his words yet. They sound like Ds.

He got a hockey stick for Christmas.

He wanted tape on it.

You can imagine what happened.

Aidan: I need tape on my dick.

Ronni and Chris – silent, crazy laughter.

We have that on tape. Can’t wait to show him when he’s older. HA.

O Happy Day! (Pictures)

I took this last night before I went to bed. 🙂

Aidan woke up at 8:30am! His diaper was completely soaked, as were all the clothes he had on. We changed him (he wanted to wear Elmo clothes but they were still packed) then headed downstairs to see what Santa brought. He gasped and said “That’s Mine!” It was so cute. It took us about two hours to get though all of our presents–Aidan sometimes would go on strike, or get really hung up on a current toy and not want to move on. So cute.

…and when my heart finds Christmas

Spent Christmas Eve at my Mom’s. I drank 1/2 a bottle of Riesling, ate good food (Honey Baked Ham, yeah!) and played with my little boy. It was a good time. 🙂 I got a $50 gift card to Best Buy, a bath set, a doll, and some soaps. Chris got a chocolate fondue fountain (!!!) and a Starbucks gift set. Aidan got one of those motorized cars (a HUMMER!) and tons of cars, trains, trucks, etc, a big Elmo, and some little Dora toys. He kept saying “Swiper, no swiping! Aw man!” (If you watch Dora you’d totally get it)

I slept some of the way home but also called Aimzy (verytruly) just to chat. Aidan is back home now, sleeping in the bed beside me with a full diaper (I shudder to think what the condition will be when he wakes).

I’m really tired, so I’m going to read and sleep. I’m going to need lots of energy for CHRISTMAS!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
