Thank you God, for the best Gift of all, forever and ever, Amen.
I took this last night before I went to bed. π
Aidan woke up at 8:30am! His diaper was completely soaked, as were all the clothes he had on. We changed him (he wanted to wear Elmo clothes but they were still packed) then headed downstairs to see what Santa brought. He gasped and said “That’s Mine!” It was so cute. It took us about two hours to get though all of our presents–Aidan sometimes would go on strike, or get really hung up on a current toy and not want to move on. So cute.
Hmm. I got a lot of good stuff. Check it out:
– jacket
– sweater
– Harry Potter Scene It!
– Shaun of the Dead DVD
– Pirates of the Caribbean DVD – this is actually for the whole family! π
– Lean on Me DVD
– The O.C. season two DVD set
– Mickey Mouse bank
– Mickey Mouse watch
– Disney CD
– Mickey Mouse playing cards
– stickers
– baby Princess Leia and Han Solo
– candy
– mini lava lamp
– Bath and Body works stuff
– Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (all 3 books)
– Kingdom Keepers book
Fi chillin’ before the frenzy. π
Lucy thinks she’s a present!
Stocking Stuffers.
Funny story about the lava lamp–it was one of the most coveted items at my office Holiday party Thursday during the white elephant gift exchange. I have one of my very own! π
Aidan opening a present.
Aidan, finally dressed in some new (Mickey Mouse) pajamas, redecorating the tree. π
Here is a picture of Aidan in his new Hummer:
I think Aidan’s favorite presents (from me and Chris/Santa/Mickey Mouse) are:
– Danger Mouse seasons 1 & 2
– a little Blue Jackets hockey stick
– Blue Jackets hat
He also loves the Hummer. π
We had a good morning, yay. Aidan is back and happy, and Chris is making breakfast (YUM) and we don’t have to go anywhere today! And we’re going to make dinner and it’s going to be really neat! YAY!
I can’t wait to play Harry Potter Scene It! We played Disney Scene It the other night and I KICKED BOOTAY.
A quick little sidenote–what is it about the Christmas season that encourages the invention of verbs?
- Good-byeing
- Christmasing
- Mistletoeing
Weird.
I am hungry. I’m going to tell Chris to make some bacon, along with the apple-cinnamon Christmas muffins I gave him to bake us all for Christmas. Mmm, they smell so good. Heehee.
