Lisa Schroeder (lisa_schroeder) has this cute little this-or-that survey on her Web site.

You know I can hardly resist a survey, so here goes:

Mornings or Nights?
Nights! I am such a night owl it’s not even funny. As my mom puts it, “You’ve always been backwards!”
Even though I work a 9-5 (OK, 730-4) job, I find it hard to settle down enough to go to bed before 1030. And I am hard pressed to be asleep before midnight.
Sleeping all day is like heaven for me. I’m sure adamselzer can attest to this about me, as he’s seen it happen. Something about the daylight makes me feel fuzzy and drowsy. Something about the night makes me feel alive. This past weekend, I lolled around all day and stayed up late. It was awesome. But last night was hard; I may have gotten one hour of sleep. I managed to make it through the day, though. I think the Psuedovent has speed in it or something. That stuff is awesome.

Summer or Winter?
Summer. I am not a fan of cold. Although, I do LOVE winter accesories such as mittens, gloves, scarves, hats, etc.

Beach or Mountains?
Hmm, haven’t had a lot of experience with either, to be honest. Been to more beaches than mountains, but I like them both.

Jeans or skirts?
Jeans. Especially my pair of 7 For All Mankind. Those things feel like pajamas. I’ve had them for almost two years and I refuse to gain weight so I’ll always fit them.

Dog or Cat?
I have a cat named Lucy. I love her. She’s so cute. You all have heard/read about her. Some of you might remember when I first got her.
Baby Lucy Little Lucy

With that said, I adore dogs, too. I love Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, and MUTTS! But I don’t have the patience, the space, or the time to fairly take care of a dog, so I am in the cat camp for now.

Movies or TV?
Movies. Especially on my TV. (DVDs!)

Cook or clean?
… about that. Adam calls himself my future house husband for a reason.

Lucky Charms or Smart Start?
Ew, neither!

Babies or Teenagers?
No fair!!!!!! I’m one of the rare adults who can get along with teens, which seems to puzzle quite a few people. I don’t know, maybe I’ve been lucky to deal with really cool teens (like caragirl). When I did Crosstrainers at HCC, it was sooo rewarding. Teens are cool and funny. It’s when they get to college that they become obnoxious. Heh. But then again, babies are beautiful and precious. They’re a nice way to start people, as someone once said. However, babies are sneaky. I notice that when I hold my friend Laura’s son, the biological clock gets tricked into ticking a bit. I get back to my senses when I have distance, but being around them is something.

Read or write?
Truthfully? Reading. I mean, I enjoy writing, but writing is WORK. Reading isn’t. Usually. Pride and Prejudice is proving me wrong on that, though.

The beginning or the end?
Every new beginning is some other beginning’s end.
What song is that from? Closing Time, I think? Who is that by? I wouldn’t mind hearing that now.

On an unrelated note, my ear and throat are starting to bother me again, so now I am hopped up on Darvocet and plan to call the ENT first thing in the morning. *sigh* I hope I don’t need surgery.
