Oh my God, what? Another entry? So soon? Well then.
I had a pretty amazing 2010. I tried new things, watched new movies, learned about new music, read lots of books, landed a full-time job, and met many awesome people. As per my tradition, I’m doing my year-in-review survey.
1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
I went to yoga classes. Flew in an acroyoga workshop. Made a hairfall. Attended WindyCon. Wore an afro. Visited a century farm. Went to the Art Institute. Got hooked on Doctor Who.
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t know if I made any resolutions. I don’t plan on making any for 2011.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister-in-law Cassidy had a sweet little girl.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank the Lord.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A trip to Disney World!
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None really. It was a good year overall.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting yoga and sticking with it… well until Fourth Quarter took over.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not sticking with yoga once I started working full time. I HAVE to get back into it regularly.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got the flu over the summer, but other than that, all was pretty well.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Ellowyne Wilde dolls.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Aidan’s. It’s so much fun watching him grow up!

14. Where did most of your money go?
Fun stuff, for once. 🙂

Mockingjay. Meeting Suzanne Collins. Meeting Susane Colasanti. Meeting Ann M. Martin.

Almost anything by Lady GaGa. BP Perino by Add N to X. All of the kirtan music I was introduced to this year.

Happier or sadder? Happier.
Thinner or fatter? Fatter. I went up a pant size. 🙁

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Write. *sigh* Scrapbooking. Yoga.

Being lazy LOL.

Spent it with family.

Already in love. No one night stands. I snogged Adam.

Not really.

I read a lot of good books, so I can’t narrow it down. However, I’ve read 160 new books in 2010!

Krishna Das. And I’m loving Lady GaGa these days.

Monster High dolls. Ellowyne Wilde dolls. Many other toys. A job.
28. What did you want and not get?
MOAR AIDAN TIME.

I turned 36. Holy crap. I worked, and late at that.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A trip to Disney World.

Black t-shirt, jeans.

Reading. Lots of reading.

David Tennant.

Healthcare reform.

Aidan. I never see him enough. 🙁

Gosh. I met a lot of new people. I think the con folks I met this year win this, though!

For the most part, yes!

In my apartment with friends and family. I was in my apartment with family when it ended. Said family members dropped their pants at midnight. *headdesk*

The drive to finish writing a novel.

Aidan!!! That kid is soooo amazing.
Getting a job.
Re-establishing my credit.
Yoga.
Making it through the year with no accidents or speeding tickets
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Sweaters and jeans, or tee-shirts and jeans, or hoodies and jeans. Sometimes a cute skirt with boots.

Just started wearing my hair short and curly.

Adam and Aidan

Various freelancing projects, then landing a full time job at Schawk.

Can’t think of a single purchase besides DISNEY WORLD what! Oh, and plane tickets.

Jeff and Deborah, Amy, and Chris came over and we cooked out, and then we all walked down the block and watched the locals put on some impressive fireworks shows. Then we got back and ate many sweets.

Yeah, can’t imagine that right now.

I’d like for the long, long days at work to go away. It’s hard when you are out of the house 12 hours a day and have to turn around and do it all over again the next day and even some weekends.
What about yourself will you be changing?
– I hope to become even more assertive, less likely to freak out.
– I will be doing even better financially.
– I will be able to write unabashedly and with excitement.
– I will be able to do Crow/Crane pose by the end of the year.
What happened in 2010 that you didn’t think would ever happen?
– Schawk hired me. LOL.
– I wore skinny jeans. AND LIKED IT.
– I stopped drinking pop.

Yes, I’ll wear my boots more.

I’ll probably quit for the most part. It does nothing for me. I’ll probably have a drink every once in a while, but honestly, I’d rather have juice.
