Recently, Adam brought home
some dark chocolate hot chocolate.
Not only does it smell heavenly,
it tastes that way, too. Yum.
Santa wraps most of the presents,
but he leaves the really big and awkward ones unwrapped.
A variety of people visit Aidan, though.
One year, even Brutus Buckeye left him something.
White.
I think they look classy.
No.
First or second week in December.
Cornbread dressing.
Mac & cheese.
Honey ham.
Turnip/mustard greens.
Gravy over everything.
Mmmm.
I have a lot.
My mom always went out of her way
to make Christmas extra special for
my sister and me.
Lots of toys.
Good food.
Good music.
Good times.
That depends.
What do YOU consider the truth
about Santa?
Sometimes.
My tree is pre-lit, so all I have to do
is put it together and put on the ornaments!
Hate it.
Sort of.
I love all my gifts.
Some that come to mind, though, are a 10-speed bike,
Hangin’ Tough Live (a New Kids on the Block video),
the O.C. season 1 on DVD,
the Tiffany necklace Adam got me last year,
the handmade art Cassidy gave us this year.
Being with loved ones.
Dutch apple pie.
Especially the one Adam’s dad makes.
Gotta have the crumblies.
Watching A Christmas Story.
Eating cookies.
Sending Christmas cards.
Receiving Christmas cards.
An angel, of course.
Equal.
March of the Wooden Soldiers sang by Harry Connick, Jr.
Christmastime by Michael W. Smith.
Ding Dong Merrily on High sang by Blackmore’s Night
Jingle Bells sang by The Andrews Sisters & Bing Crosby
Joy To The World sang by Whitney Houston
…just to name a few
I’m not a fan.
They are pretty, though.
Feel free to do this survey on your blog as well, but please comment and let me know so I can come check it out.
Love your childhood pics! Girl you took me back with the pink roller in the front of your head to make a bang! lol Attaining curls has come a long way. A flat iron would have relieved us from a lot of unnecessary stress and ear burns! Remember the pressing comb…Ouch! LOL Anyways glad to see you posting again! I participated on this one. Come check mines out when you get a chance.

Ear burns! Hated them!!
What about the kitchen? Ohhh, I used to hate when Mommy would go back there to the kitchen. OUCH.
I almost bought an electric pressing comb a few months ago. I'm natural, but sometimes I like to straighten my hair. I was feeling like a comb would be easier. What was I thinking? Maybe an InStyler would be a better choice!
Going to check out yours now! 🙂
My recent post Christmas Survey #1
Girl…the kitchen yes! "Bend your head down" Mommy would say. Before the hot comb would even come close to the hairs steam would be emitting from your collar (your own nervous sweat), shoulders would be scrunched up, eyes and hands squeezed tightly together all the time while you're praying "Please don't burn me" Then the pop from the hair grease rang in your ear, you'd jump and damn it your neck got nicked by that hot comb! Mommy would say "That's your fault, I didn't even touch your neck! Why did you jump?" lol Black women and the trials and tribulations of our hair. Gotta love it!
I'm a natural too. Love my Curly Q's! LOL I only wear my hair straight 3 times a year. That's when I trim my ends.
Wow, that sounds so familiar. I dreaded Sunday nights.

Not so sure I want to do the survey, but I enjoyed reading your answers! And I agree with many of your answers–especially about candy canes! haha!
Cool Christmas surveys. I can ALMOST guess your age. I have pictures that look JUST like those but I'm older. Like that one with the white border, and that age my pictures are on Polaroids. My pictures with the white borders start at about age 5, am I getting warm? I'm posting a blog on my fellow Sag birthdays, I had to come back and check your countdown 😉
