friends

Hmmmm…

Had a good Friday. Monica (bluemo84) came over and we spent the evening together. I’ll tell you what, six hours never has never gone so quickly before. πŸ™‚ Great fun. Rob came over too, but somehow Chris got him to help lay the “hardwood floor” in the foyer, so I didn’t get to see a lot of him. But he’ll be here tomorrow, so yay. Becky stopped by too. It’s so much fun to try to get the 20Q game to guess naughty things or concepts. Heehee. Good times.

Being with my friends always makes me happy. πŸ˜€ Yay for them.

Tired now, and Harry Potter is calling my name. G’night!

July, Already? (Pictures)

I’ve been using my Live Journal for a little over a year now. So weird. I’m up to over 900 entries now. That’s crazy!

I got to work from home yesterday. Boss #3 (who is now officially Boss #1 but I’ll keep calling him Boss #3 to alleviate confusion) told me to go ahead. I got some things done, but it’s hard with Aidan demanding attention and an unstable internet connection. But it was okay, I got to rest and save on the commute.

Aidan went down for a nap at a bit after three, taking me with him, of course. πŸ™‚ I knew there were plans in the works but I wasn’t sure what. Let me tell you, it’s so hard to have different groups of friends and to have them all wanting a “piece” of me. Tee hee. But Becky and I had made plans to hang out anyway, so that was that. Well, it grew into a decent-sized group. The usual ‘Crew’ – me, Becky, Rob, Tyler… and Emily came along too. YAY for that. We ate dinner at Cap City diner (meh), watched Degrassi at Emily’s, drove arond I-670 to catch glimpses of Red, White, and Boom, then booked it out of there. We went to Champps in Easton for dessert. Rob bought me a drink and we got into some pretty heavy conversations. Went back to Emily’s, hung out a bit, then Becky and Tyler left. Rob, Emily, and I watched part of Princess Diaries II and some music videos before finally leaving a bit after 2am. Good times, man. Good times.

Of course, I have pictures!

Me in the car on the way to Champps. I’m just trying to imagine what dorks we are, taking pictures of ourselves as Tyler’s driving down the street. WEIRD!

Right now, I’m just working on some projects and chillin. Time for a shower soon. πŸ™‚ Good times.

Later!

Weird Saturday (Pictures!)

What a weird day.

Firstly, I slept in the guest room because Chris didn’t turn on his CPAP machine. I was awakened by him and Aidan, and I had the worst migraine ever. I went back to sleep while Chris took Aidan to the store.

They got back a little after noon, and I got up and showered. I really wanted to sleep some more, but I had an appointment at one. The appointment was amazing and is the first step to financial freedom for me. IF I can stick to the program, and I will be needing some serious prayer to do that.

During the appointment (it was in our home), Aidan climbed up on the island and decided to be extra cute:

After she left, I played on the computer again for a while, Craig and Aidan played, Chris watched Golden Girls, and I finally couldn’t take the pain anymore and went up to bed. I slept for hours again, and got up to check my email. My head was POUNDING. Rob had left an IM telling me to go to Tyler’s for a movie. I lotioned up, pulled my hair back, threw on my glasses, grabbed a bottle of ibuprofen and headed over. Becky was there and they were waiting for me before they started the movie “Walking Tall.” It was a good movie. Especially because The Rock is bloody HOT.

After the movie, my headache calmed down. May have had something to do with the four ibuprofen I took and the pizza rolls Rob, Becky, and I shared.

Rob and the Lazy Boy had a few issues:

Rob and Tyler started violently throwing things at each other. Too bad the picture doesn’t capture it, but this is in the middle of a particularly violent (or not so much) tossing of an Auto Mart magazine. See previous picture. The book Rob is reading exsists no more. Also, some stinky Dry-Erase markers got hurled as well. Tyler ran for his life at that one.

Rob decided that Tyler needed to do a photo shoot. Rob is a very ambitious photographer and wanted to get the best shots possible. Check out the lengths he goes through to make sure he gets the perfect pose:

I’m kind of interested to see how the pictures will come out. And despite what it looks like, they really aren’t gay or dating or likewise. πŸ™‚

SURPRISE!

So, I tried to plan a suprise birthday party for Chris, whose birthday is Monday, June 27th. I sent out an email on Monday and let people know and asked them to stop by, but letting me know if they couldn’t come. I was quite busy for the next couple of days, so I didn’t get much done. Thursday night, I went out and bought stuff, then hid it strategically around the house. Heehee. He had no idea, except for me asking him to take off work an hour early. Mmm yeah, about that.

So I found out he’d be home around 730ish. I figured I’d have time to take care of things. OH NO. This fool left work at 6pm and got home BEFORE any of the guests got there. I was frosting the cupcakes. I’d been rushing around all evening trying to clean the house (luckily, there wasn’t a whole lot to do, but enough!), and Aidan wanted lots of attention for some reason. I got a little bit stressed out. But I calmed down when Chris got home. He started getting suspicious because of the cupcakes and the extra ice cream in the freezer. Then Aidan found his birthday presents and started to open them. Bob and David showed up and Chris was confused. Then he started to get it.

I forgot to take pictures, but it was fun seeing Bob and David, Lauren and her daughter, Lauren’s sister Holly, Rob (yay!), Craig, Chad and Christy, Katie, and Corey. πŸ™‚ I also go to see David, Craig, Lauren and baby Ellie, and Bob at Cici’s pizza Thursday night. I’d forgotten my camera, too bad I didn’t get a picture of Bob’s MOUND OF PIZZA.

We had spaghetti, ice cream, cupcakes, then Chris watched his presents: Alice in Wonderland and Golden Girls Season Two on DVD. Bwah.

So he was still surprised, but it wasn’t as dramatic as I’d hoped. That’s okay, though. He was happy anyway and he likes his presents. πŸ˜€

Dude, I just took another Lortab and I’m finally feeling good. Mmmmmm. Those pills make having cramps worth it.

Hmm. Got some work done on the Disney album. Still waiting on some pictures from Snapfish before I finish up. I’ll have pictures to add to my other albums too. So those sneak previews were not completely finished.

Random snippet from work:

Boss #2 – you got a tape measure?
Woman – what do you need a tape measure fo–never mind. I don’t want to know.

I got to talk to Rob for a long time which was much needed. I enjoy having those talks with him. I hadn’t seen a lot of him lately, so it was wonderful to spend so much time with him. YAY for Rob. πŸ™‚

So, I found out my Photopass pictures haven’t expired just yet. I can still order the two I want. This is most exciting! If any of you want to see them, let me know and plop your email address into the comments.

I had other stuff to write, but the meds are finally kicking in hard core. YEAH.

G’night, I mean morning. ΒΊOΒΊ
