Had LOADS of fun at Christy’s birthday party tonight! Everyone is so funny. 😀

I did what I said I wasn’t going to do.
I slept all day today.
In all fairness, I did stay up until after 5am. And there wasn’t anything that I really needed to do, so yeah. 🙂 I would have gone shopping and spent money I didn’t have otherwise so it’s probably best that I stayed in bed all day.
It’s a beautiful day outside, though. And Christy’s party starts soon, so I have to get ready for that.
Had fun at Tyler’s last night, just like I’d anticipated. I made dinner–we had spaghetti. No burnt noodles this time thanks to my pasta fork and my bigger pot! 🙂 It was pretty yummy if I do say so myself. Tyler bought that cake again and this time I got a piece AND the cherry! 🙂 We watched Mean Girls. Funny movie. They really need to do something about the school buses in that town…
Brian P, Becky, Rob, Josh, Emily, and I were there. Loads of fun. Poor Tyler was at the mercy of three, yes THREE women when the other boys left. Becky had a wonderful time tormenting him. I had fun too, but I didn’t torment him as much. It’s fun to make him scream!
Some of my favorite parts of the evening:
– The online quizzes.
– Making Tyler scream!
– Learning and sharing SECRETS, even embarrassing ones!
– Looking at music, pictures, and videos with Emily.
– Emily pretending to be me and ‘molesting’ Becky through AIM.
I downloaded tons more music from http://music.download.com. Seriously, you guys need to check it out. I got some stuff from The Postal Service, Coheed and Cambria, and American Hi-Fi for FREE. FREE, I tell ya. FREE!!! And it’s all legal. 🙂 So go and get some music. Make your iPods as happy as mine will be tonight after I load all these goodies on there! 🙂
I also went to my favorite pay-to-download site (10 cents each) and downloaded some Frou Frou. <3 Music.

I feel yummy today. I am not sure why. Maybe because the sun came out when I was driving to work this morning. It’s supposed to be in the 60s today, and the 70s tomorrow! 🙂
I’m almost caught up on all my email. Considering I had over thirty at some point over the weekend, this is a phenomenal feat. In my opinion, at least.

There was so much I wanted. DJ Tiesto for example. *sigh* If only I had all the money in the world…just… so much music!!!!
Oh well. I’ll just have to pace myself. Now I’m back in Credit Card Payoff Mode. Like, SERIOUSLY. I will have three paid off by the end of the summer, three more by December, for a total of six cards paid off in 2005. And I paid one off last week. So I guess the total for 2005 will be seven cards paid off. Can you dig it? 🙂
Should be fun. Like it’s fun to go to Best Buy with Bizzy and speak with a British accent almost the entire time. And fun to have lunch at Smoky Bones with 19,000 people from church. I always wonder what they think when they see large crowds come in. “Oooh, TIPS!” or “OH NO, WE’RE GOING TO GET SLAMMED!” Our waiter, Ryan, was cool though. He said that we made it easy on him. 🙂
And the cornbread was SO YUMMM!!!
I am so ready for 4pm. I have to get an oil change tonight and do a bit of work on The Bark. Tomorrow, I’ll copy it and have it ready for distribution. 🙂
Restless much? Oh, you bet I am.
Apparently, Chris is doing all sorts of crazy things to the house. I’m excited to seee what he’s done since I’ve been at work today.
And WOOHOO! Another reserve came in for me at the library: The First Part Last by Angela Johnson. 🙂
I have to get an oil change tonight. BORING. But at least it will be done. I’m going to one of the 10-minute places; I bet it’ll be crowded. Bugger. I need to get gas before I do anything, though! So tonight:
– Gas
– Library
– Oil change
– The Bark
– Rob (hopefully?!?)
*mentally tries to speed time up, but only for a bit*
You’d think I’d be all “WHOA! THE TIME IS GOING FAST TODAY!” Thanks to Daylight Savings Time, but I’m not that lucky. Getting use to this always takes a bit of time, but I know I’ll get used to it and love it because the days will be longer and warmer and all that good stuff.
This makes me sad.
And I want to see this. Any of you local folk up for a field trip?

Something you don’t hear everyday:
“OOOH! MY BUTT IS WARM!” – said by our own lovely itskels. 🙂
So, I got up Saturday morning and there was snow everywhere. I’d been expecting a dusting; they (meaning the weather people) had forecasted it. But as we were driving up North for Aidan’s vacation (heehee), it was snowing like a mofo. I mean, inches and inches of accumulation. Slushy, slippery, nasty stuff. What in the fresh hell? It’s APRIL. But it’s also Ohio. It could snow in June here. ACK.
And I don’t even know if the darn forsythia bloomed yet, so IT DOESN’T EVEN COUNT.
Oh, don’t tell me you don’t know the legend? Spring won’t officially be here (read: the weather won’t break) until there have been three snows after the forsythia blooms. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen one flower yet. Well, no blooms anyway. Saw a few greens. And the poor daffodils that were pushing through–if they survive this, then I’ll bow down to them. Yes, to flowers. Shutup.

So, I’m working on The Bark and Microsoft Word is being a right pain in the arse. Sometimes, I’ll add a line break and four pages of text will disappear! What in the fresh hell? I’m almost done with it, though. I have to make the collage (I’ll do that tomorrow) and get Joe’s cartoon and it should be all set. 🙂
Read “Keeping The Moon” by Sarah Dessen in one day. Wonderful, captivating book. *sigh* I can be that successful if I’d get over this stupid fear. 🙁
I’m going to read Broken China by Lori Aurelia Williams next.

So why did my husband put on nine pounds of cologne just to go to sleep?
Although I was expecting a huge cleaning project when Aidan was gone–I guess Chris did it all. So, I can spend a lot of time relaxing. Not to worry, there is still plenty for me to do, but not as much now. YAY.
Church soon. Then lunch after, maybe? And I’m not sure about Bible Study–I haven’t been reading and I have to get a jump on this writing and other projects while I have the chance (read: while I have the freedom to do it). We’ll see how tomorrow goes. Won’t be wearing my new outfit, that’s for sure, since the weather is doing that “I’ll be nice when everyone is stuck at work but I’ll turn CRAPPY on the weekends” thing again. Wah.

Fun, relaxing night with friends. Much needed, I assure you.
Had a longish day at work. Went to get Aidan, and he was sleeping. So I siezed the opportunity and crashed in the in-laws’ couch. His mom is really cool; we’ll chat for a bit, but then she’ll read and I’ll fall asleep. I got in a good 30 minutes or so, which worked out well for me.
I got home and my dear brother Rob had left me an IM with The Plan for tonight. So I packed Aidan back up and we headed over to Tyler’s to hang and watch Fat Albert. We went to Giant Eagle for food and Rob and I had the idea to make spaghetti. “I already have the ingredients for spaghetti,” Tyler told us. So I told them I’d cook it and we headed back to his place. Tyler and I cooked dinner while Rob ate dessert. OH DARN IT, I never did get a piece of that cake! But I did get the cherry off top. 🙂
Becky called and said she was coming. YAY FOR ME, seeing as I aime Becky. A lot.
Spaghetti was good, not my best but it did the trick. Watched Fat Albert–what a cute movie. Rob left shortly after the movie but Becky and I stayed a bit later and hung out with Tyler. It’s always good to talk to either or both of them.
I’m getting tired. I’m going to read and go to bed. Two of my book reserves came in Friday, so I picked them up after work. Just in time, as I finished Georgia Nicolson today during lunch. 🙂
