friends

:D

Love toilets…patent office reform…broken $300 digital cameras…mac vs pc…laughter…cell phone scare tactics…brownies…cuddly photos…random thoughts…heated discussions…rob songs…stories about weirdoes…smiles…amazing friendship.

Small group was awesome, as always. Tami led off with a discussion on missions, but it turned rather heated. My favorite kind of discussion. We can disagree, argue, whatever, but it’s always done with respect. I LOVE when Rob is there because I truly enjoy listening to him speak. I like learning how he thinks and how his mind works. I just wish his camera had worked properly with his computer, though. πŸ™ Tyler and I tried everything and it just would not work.

Some of the stories that were told tonight–honestly–kind of gross. But funny nonetheless. There was so much randomness and I hate that I can barely remember any of it!!!

I guess that’s okay, though. It was fun while it lasted. πŸ™‚

Mr. Matt joined us tonight. He’s added an entirely new dynamic to the group and I think it’s going to be mighty interesting in times to come.

I love my small group. Just thought I’d reiterate that. Over and over and so on and so forth. My small group is the best. πŸ˜€ I’m incredibly blessed.

Skippy Be Bop

Hung out with Bizzy (otaku_witch) last night. She’s a lot of fun; so very sweet. AND her birthday is two days before mine! I told her I’d get her a present and I know exactly what I’m going to get her. We ate Steak and Shake (where we saw Micah Vorst micahtvorst) with one of his friends. Then we went to Target and just kind of browsed around. In the toy section, Aidan was playing this princess phone and he kept pushing the 3, which said “Hello. I’m Cinderella” over and over and over. Then he tried to say Cinderella. πŸ˜€

After I dropped Bizzy off, I went over to Craig’s for a bit. Joshua was there, and they were watching Monday Night Football. I got on Craig’s computer to do stuff for the small group and talked to Garth and Mr. Matt for a bit online. Then I got gas (FOR MY CAR!) and went home. Managed to not get to bed until after 1am! What the banana?

I suddenly feel steely in my resolve. Hmmm.

Small group tonight! I’m looking forward to it as always.

Later….

Hi.

Chris cut Aidan’s hair. πŸ™ I now have a lump of really cool curls that are waiting to go in a scrapbook. *sigh* I wanted to grow it very long just to see what it would do. Boooooo.

So, go here: http://free.mailinfo.com/web/reality/index.htm and do the Illusive Reality Experiment. Make sure you read the directions. Just so you know, I got it right. ‘Cause I’m good like that.

Church was very good today. I sat with Bizzy otaku_witch, and Emily yoimemily was there too! Tyler and Joshua were behind me. The service was weird, because it wasn’t a typical service. A couple of testimonies and a video about the church expansion. The pastor is very excited about this whole endeavor. I can’t imagine how much the church will grow once it’s all finished.

It is so cold! Winter will be here before I know it. I’m so not looking forward to the cold temperatures or driving in the snow. But oh well.

I went to Target today. Picked up a new CD and another pair of headphones for my iPod. I lost my little bud ones; not that I liked them anyway. My ears are so small that bud headphones never stayed in properly without wedging them in and causing some pain. I got some neat sports ones.

I don’t have too much to say at this point. I think I’m going to go to bed. I’m tired of practically falling asleep at work every single day. I need my rest. Good night! πŸ™‚

We now break for this very important message:

I am so incredibly blessed to have Kelly P in my life.

Now back to your regularly scheduled journal. Or something. πŸ˜€

Yay! More Fun! :) (Pictures)

Tonight, I went to the Thanksgiving Dinner that was held for The Grove. It was pretty okay. I stuck by Rob and Tyler for most of the night, and Kim at some points too. Interesting foods there. Lots of desserts. πŸ™‚ Aidan was good for the most part, playing with the babies and the toys. He got bratty near the end; I think he was tired of being in the house.

Kim, Rob, Tyler and I left together and hung out in the street for a while. It was way too cold, though, so we went to Starbucks and hung out and drank hot drinks. I drank cocoa and my stomach is already bubbling. Dang lactose intolerance. Some of the most memorable moments of the night were: Tyler doing his “kid dance,” (I have to get that on video someday), Rob tossing Tyler up in the air…come to think of it, Rob and Tyler together is pretty funny. I love hanging out with them.

Tyler (the cutest geek ever) and me at Starbucks.

Rob showing his strength by lifting Tyler, but not so much. Tyler is a bit wiry. πŸ˜‰

Rob and Aidan sharing a table at Starbucks. How cute are they??

My friends ROCK.

More pictures coming soon to the photo album.

Not sure what the plans are for tomorrow. I was going to clean the house and isolate the cause of the gross funny smell, but I think Chris may have taken care of it already. Hmm. I know at some point, I’m supposed to hang out with Amy, but that’s not til the evening. I will probably try to catch up on sleep tomorrow. Just relax, maybe. Chris had mentioned the zoo, which never makes me sad. I LOVE the zoo. But we’ll see. I’d just as soon stay in bed all day, or play on the computer. Ha ha.

Last night, Kelly P came over and we had spaghetti and girl time. THAT was fun, especially the watching Little People part. Where’s Todd? Haha. Long story. Well, not so much. But anyway, I always love hanging out with her, so I’m excited that she came all the way to my house just to spend time with me and have spaghetti with me. πŸ™‚

I am so glad it’s the weekend!!!!!! Seriously. Today was the longest Friday ever. Actually, no it wasn’t. There was another one a few months ago that was much longer, but today was still pretty rough. I am so looking forward to relaxing soon. Probably taking the laptop into the bedroom and having a ball.

Next week, we are taking Aidan to stay with my mom for a week. I will miss him, but I will enjoy the free time in the evenings for sure. Hopefully I can get the following things done:

1. Quality time with friends.
2. A bit of writing.
3. Christmas shopping.

OH MY GOD. It’s my mommy’s birthday. Somebody remind me to call her (at a decent hour)!!!!!
