She’s Happy!

As I was driving this morning, I noted how enjoyable and relaxing the Friday morning commute is. I think most people take Fridays off of work and school, so the freeways are so NOT clogged (Read that Chandler-style, please). I also like how in Powell the motorists (in general) are very polite compared to those in other parts of the Columbus area.

OH MY GOSH. iVY will be here in 14 days!!! I can’t believe it. It’s coming so quickly. TWO WEEKS, suckahs!! And I get to spend a week with one of my best friends. WEEEEE!

I’m going to take her to First Watch and Morrone’s. And we’re going to bake lots of goodies and eat lots of yummy stuff and watch movies and hang out and talk. I can’t wait to see her!!

I miss Kelly P. Seeing her only 10 minutes a week after church IS NOT ENOUGH. Dang it.

I need a Kelly P fix stat. I have a fever, and the only cure is Kelly P. Oh, somebody bring me some water!

Someone else please stop me from eating hamburgers (prepared various ways) for at least 2 weeks. I’ve eaten 8 hamburgers over the past week and a half and I have a feeling that is not normal. BUT, none of them was McDonalds. I’m in Day 10 of my McDonald’s fast, and it has been good.

I still find myself desiring to purchase a laptop. My counselor told me to make a list of 10 (enjoyable) things I could do to distract me from wanting to make myself happy with *another* big ticket purchase. Lord knows I don’t need another. Since October 2003, I have purchased a new desktop computer, a car, a guitar, and an iPod.

So, click below to see my list of things to do once I feel the urge to go to Best Buy and whip out the cute little yellow card that will give me no interest for 12 months:

Stuff To Do Other Than Go To Best Buy

Labor Day (Picture)

Labor Day was fun. Fun, fun, fun! πŸ™‚ Lots of visitors stopped by today: David, Lauren, Craig, Tami, Jen*Jen (who was already here from the night before!) and Jennifer (lamplamp)! I had so much fun. Chris grilled out and we had pizza burgers and hamburgers, tator tots, potato salad, baked beans, chips and lots to drink. Then we played Scene It! and Karoake Revolution. Yes. That was MOST entertaining! I won, of course. Cause you know, I’m that GOOD (not).

One by one, people trickled out, and then Jennifer stayed with us. I burned her a couple of CDs and then we acted silly and talked. We ate fried chicken and the rest of the sides from earlier today, and played Tombraider – Angel of Darkness. Good times. Aidan fell in love with her and vice versa. They played and cuddled and it was so sweet! It was sooo awesome seeing and hanging out with Jennifer again. I <3 that woman.

Here’s reason number 4908568905890 why Kelly P is awesome. She was in Florida to vacation with her family at Disneyworld. A hurricane came along and threatened to wrack havoc on their vacation. In the midst of all this, Kelly thought about little ole me and got me this:

Mm, yeah. How awesome is that? I love Mickey Mouse Club, and I love pink. Who’d have thunk it? πŸ˜‰

Well, I’d better skedaddle. I have sort of a long day tomorrow, and plus there is work. *sigh* So, til later….

P.S. Why did no one ever tell me that the first 100 or so pages of GQ magazine seems to be more for women than men? I discovered that today. Heh.

Saturday Was Fun

Hola!

I had such a fun Saturday. It started off okay, with Aidan waking up in an awesome and adorable little mood. Then I played on the computer a little bit; loaded some songs into my iPod. We went to Lowe’s where Chris and I got into an argument about money, but we worked it out. After Lowe’s, we went to Target, where I got the cutest little plush Elmo chair for Aidan. I picked up some necessities, and some not so necessities for 25 cents a piece! I got 2 journals, 2 notebooks, and a jumprope. All for a quarter each. I was quite happy about that!

After Target, we went to David’s place to hang out. Lauren was there! She showed us ultrasound pictures, but baby had his/her legs crossed. No secrets revealed there. I got to meet David’s friend Jill and a couple of other people. Good times. Then we went to Chad and Christy’s. That was fun. Jen*Jen met us there, and we ate food, watched Mystery Science Theater 3000, and then Chad and Christy and Chris and I went upstairs to talk. It was really amazing. Chad and Christy are awesome friends. Very generous, a lot of fun, kind, and great to talk to. I think Jen liked them! πŸ™‚ Then Chris went downstairs with Aidan, and Abby showed up. She came upstairs and talked, but not before Christy and I got to have some girly time together and talk to each other.

We got home about 20 minutes ago and I’m pretty tired. Church looks to be busy this Sunday. I will try to make it to Sunday school. I’ll definitely make it to the 11:15 service, and maybe lunch afterwards. Then.. Jen*Jen is spending the night! YAY!!!!! I don’t have to work Monday, and I am really looking forward to seeing lamplamp on Monday.

Going back to work Tuesday is going to be so hard. Especially since my To Do list for next week is already more than 1/2 marked off. But I have a fairly big project to do–most of it is done already, though! Hopefully the week will go by quickly. Each day brings me closer to when iVY will be here!!!

Kelly P is home. Now I can breathe more easily. πŸ™‚

Good night, all. πŸ™‚

Picture Time! (Pictures)

Updated my RandomNess album and added a new one — Lake Hope II. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, and since JA Album seemed to have a problem with the following pictures, I’m posting them here. The first one is of me and the AWESOME Emily (yoimemily), and the 2nd is of Kim and Tina in Meijer. We all decided to get our blood pressure checked. And weight. It was good times.

WORD. This is me and Emily. She rocks. Dang it.

Kim gets her blood pressure checked while Tina looks on with a peaceful smile. Gotta love the picture of the lady putting in her contact.

For some reason, I’m kind of cranky. And I still feel sick. And people at work are noticing that I am out of the office a lot recently.

Oh well.
