to do

Monday Again…

Spent almost all of Easter Sunday in bed! I missed Easter dinner at the in-law’s cause I was so sick, but they sent food home for me which was good because I was hungry. Craving spaghetti, but with little energy, so the already prepared food was good for me. And who can go wrong with Honey-Baked Ham? I didn’t get any potatoes, but I got some for lunch today because they had open-faced roast beef. Yum.

Made it back to work today–I’m fine if I sit down and don’t make sudden movements. But if I get up (especially suddenly), I get lightheaded and weak. Chills. Shaking. Stomach pains from time to time. I’ve been battling this since December–I wonder if it’s not pneumonia or bronchitis. I never did fully get rid of the cough. I should probably go and get it checked out, but who has time for that? I’m even more behind on things now, but the thought of even attempting to tackle everything anything overwhelms me.

The thing that sounds the most appealing thing to me is SLEEPING. But none of that for about four hours or so.

I wish I could work half days and work my way up to full days. I’m struggling today. Almost to Beyond the point of irritability for being so tired and weak despite having had hours and hours of sleep.

I managed to update the Winter 2005 photo album. I hope to get the Chicago pictures up in an album soon. Who knows when soon will be?

This Saturday, Aidan goes to stay with my mom for two weeks! I’m going to TRY not to sleep the entire two weeks away! I have much to do before then, though:

– April issue of The Bark
– CARDS!
– special surprises for people
– CLEAN (actually that can wait til the little bugger is gone)
…lots more

Ack, I’m exhausted just thinking about it all!

I guess yesterday, Aidan took off his diaper, sat on the toilet, used the bathroom, then got down and put his diaper back on. Was I dreaming or did that actually happen?

Darn drugs.

‘Til later, maybe.

So much to do, so little time…

I went to Kohl’s today, anticipating purchasing a new wool coat. My current one is a few years old and there are holes developing all over.

I came out of Kohl’s with everything BUT a coat. (The one I liked; they didn’t have in my size). They are having the most amazing sale. A million things in the store are buy one get one free. Candles, photoalbums, picture frames, towels, rugs, luggage, jeans, shirts just to name a few. And what isn’t buy one get one free is buy one get one half off. Or some percentage off. Christmas items are 80% off! I got a $30 table runner for $6! And there are clothes for 70% off. I got a $40 sweater/scarf/hat/mittens set for $12. And another sweater for $7.

I had a blast there. I LOVE Kohl’s, which is why I don’t go there often. That place is DANGEROUS.

Today at work, my boss gave me a document to edit. He asked me to come into his office and point out exactly what I edited and I could tell he was totally impressed. I know more and more that my true calling needs to be in the English/writing field, not secretarial.

I have a long day tomorrow. Work all day, chiropractor, Craig’s, then The Grove and whatever adventures await when that’s over. Wednesday, Aidan heads up to see his grandmommy for a week. Early Thursday morning I drop Craig and Chris off at the airport and then I’m person-responsibility free for a week! Woohoooo! 😀

Things to do:

– call Mommy
– put away laundry
– call Irena
– answer 10 emails
– hang out with Becky at least once more before she goes back to school
– play DDR
– write, write, write!

I must admit, I am a bit jealous. Chris gets to stop in Vegas during his trip. VEGAS, I tell ya. Weinerschnitzel is there. I’ve been craving that place. Mmm, yummy hotdogs. Yummy Bellagio food. Yummy SHOPPING.

Good night.

Saturday Afternoon

My Happy Hour at Origins was fun. Everyone should try to win one! Since I was the only one who showed up, I got all the special treatment. First, I cleansed my face with some neat products. Then I got a makeover! She also gave me a hand massage. There were cookies and tea, and I got a bag full of free samples. Anything I wanted! The girls were all complimenting me on how young I looked and how pretty my skin was/is. It was a great time. I was relaxed and happy and pampered. Oh, if only that were my life.

My errands of the day are done! Here’s the list:

[x] Chiropractor
[x] Ziebert to get new rear view mirror
[x] Fill up gas tank
[x] Oil change
[x] Car wash

I’m so proud of myself. And my car is all shiny and pretty now. I got the GOOD car wash, with the wax and stuff. Just biding time til I get the bomb detail job.

Wishlist for my car
