The banana ornament is up. That means the holiday season is officially here.
Four nutcrackers are guarding my tree. Two more are standing at attention on top of my bookcase. And snow people live all over the place. I am not great at decorating, except for Christmas. I just wish my pictures would do it justice.
My Tree (the good angle!)
Note about the angel–it’s been in my family for at least 15 years. Amazing, huh? My mom gave it to me years ago.
Some of my snow people!
My village, nutcrackers and more snow people.
My tree, the crooked angle. But here you can see the four nutcrackers who are on guard.
I just realized that I have seven versions of O Holy Night on my computer, and five versions of Santa Claus is Comin(g) to Town. But to redeem that, I have You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch. Woo! I have a variety of artists–Mariah Carey (of course), Christina Aguilera, Harry Connick, Jr (yes!), Celine Dion, and stuff from my childhood, like The Salsoul Orchestra and The Temptations. I would like to find my Kenny G. and my Celtic Christmas CDs. And there’s one more, but it’s escaping me now. Oh yes! Elvis Presley! I need to find those. Someday. Not tonight, though. Heh.
Only 20 days, 2 hours, and 25 minutes! Or is it 21 days? Oh damn. I’m horrible at math.
‘Til next time!
