So, I started cleaning tonight. I got the living room and the dining room (which is actually Aidan’s playroom) cleaned. And the family room is 80% cleaned! Chris did the dishes and took out about 45% of the trash. I’m excited. Our house smells good and those two rooms look great. I even dusted and such. We’re going to do more tomorrow. Yeehaw.

Rob and Becky came over to help. Good times, good times. I love those folks. Simply adore them.

And here is reason number 8947543574987 why I absolutely love Rob:

Heehee. Okay. I have to go to bed. Long day tomorrow. Sorta. Byeeee.

A Good Sunday

So, I didn’t get to bed until nearly 5am (thank a lot liesandpromises!!)

Just kidding, Amy. You know I love it when you keep me up all night on AIM! 🙂

I didn’t make it to church again (I haven’t been in a LONG time, and truthfully, I don’t miss it much–just the people…). I slept until after one. Chris got home with Aidan and they went to Chad & Christy’s. I got invited over, of course. I slept a few more minutes, then finally dragged myself out of bed because it was too warm in our non-airconditioned house. On my way out, I checked my AIM and Becky (magecky413) had left me a message. YAY Becky! So we got together at Chad & Christy’s to work on a special surprise for a certain someone who will remain nameless for the time being. She left and then Rob came over. YAY Rob!! We ate pizza and hung out.

I watched three movies while I was there–Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and Meet the Parents. We also watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition (I LOVE when they send them to Disneyworld!), Family Guy, and American Dad. I watched a LOT of TV today which is not normal for me at all. I usually go days in between turning on the set anymore. If I do watch it, it’s at someone’s house or because someone else turned it on here. Meep.

So, I got a little progress done on the surprise, and I got to spend time with my Booba, who I was missing terribly!!! I mean, you have no idea how much I missed him. He smells soooo good. Mmmm, Aidan. 🙂 He’s sleeping here tonight (I go Mommy bed!) because it’s too hot in his room and I just like to have him in here with me. So right now, it’s me, Chris, Aidan, three Mickey Mouses, Goofy, and Pandernoodle. I’m sure Lucy will join us soon.

And Praise the Lord, we’ll be getting our AC installed soon! All the parts are here, it just needs to be hooked up. I can’t wait. If I’m hot, everyone else must be dying. It takes a lot for me to get hot!

I am so ready to have a clean home. Everytime I go to Emily S’s place, I marvel at how neat it is. First thing. When I get paid, I’ll pay all my bills. Then I’m going to Target and buying lots of those rubbermaid bins and putting tons of Aidan’s toys away. That will help a lot. Then I’m going to tackle one room at a time. First room will be the dining room, I think. Getting Aidan’s toys all organized. Then the living room. Just to give you an idea of how sad that room is: I still have not put away all of my Christmas presents. Yeah, it’s like that. Then, I’ll tackle the family room. That one will be a pain because I’m going to need Chris to put some of his stuff away ASAP. Then I’ll do the upstairs. The loft won’t be so bad. The hard room will be the master bedroom because I am a slob. There are clothes everywhere, toiletries everywhere, BOOKS all over the place. I think I am going to buy a bookcase to put in here OR move the one from the guestroom to in here. It’s getting no use in there and I have a million books in here that need a home. Those 4 shelf cases are cheap too, so I can maybe pick up a couple. This is going to be a slow process because we are on a STRICT budget for the next couple of months and I have to get a couple of credit cards taken care of!! But the house is driving me MAD and I just want to come home to a nice, clean living space instead of clutter and mail and junk everywhere.

I don’t care what Chris says, there are some aspects of Feng Shui that are true, and the one about living in clutter causes stress is definitely the case for me!

Good times, wedding and stuff! :) (Pictures)

My Saturday ended up being really great! 😀

Started off that I got up early ON MY OWN! I got up about 9:40ish. Chris was leaving to get Aidan, so I finished the 3rd A-List novel. Then I got ready and ran some errands before heading over to the cute little church at the Ohio Historical Society for John B. & Sara’s wedding. Weddings always make me a bit sad for several reasons, but Sara looked adorable. Plus the wedding was just wacky. Weird music, they busted a lot of traditions which is always good. Their version of ‘Here Comes The Bride’ was amazing.

Afterwards, Emily thrust a can of silly string at me and demanded that I spray them. Seeing as I had a handful of birdseed and my camera, I knew this would be a trick. But I pulled it off and MY silly string didn’t get on the bride or groom and stain their pretty white clothes! 😀

The reception was fun. Here is me and the gorgeous bride:

I sat with Emily and Bizzy and we ate and took pictures and hung out. The fun began once everyone truly relaxed and mingled and the dancing started! 😀 I danced with Jon C., Krista, Emily, Bizzy, Monica, and the other Emily! It had been a long time since I danced with my friends. It was awesome!

I had a great time, and John and Sara are totally made for each other. Check out this picture:

Yeah. The tongues hanging out of their mouths is a true indication there. 🙂 WHO DOES THAT? HAHAHA.

One of the highlights of my night was singing “Pour Some Sugar On Me” at the top of my lungs along with Bizzy as I was taking her home. WOW. This is me being a dork, but I always dreamed of singing a song really loudly with a girlfriend while driving at night (a la Crazy by Aerosmith video). I got that wish tonight! 🙂 Then, spending time with Emily S is always amazing. Always. 😀 And swinging on the twirly swing with Tyler and Krista was sooo much fun and crazy. I stopped once one of the swings hit me in the face! EEK!

Afterwards, Rob, Monica, Emily and another Emily, Becky, Tyler and I went and watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. GREAT MOVIE. Pretty different from the book, but still good. The actresses they got to play those parts were perfect. Especially Bridget–I didn’t think girls really looked like her. Then we all hung out at Emily S’s house and well, hung out. Played with our cameras, played on the computer (I have never seen Emily so emotional!), shot the breeze. Good times, good times.

I love being with my friends. They make me so happy. 😀

Wow, that’s all I have to say. And I say that because I’d be the one to buy it. HAHAHAHA.

I’m feeling a lot better now. Everything is okay. Again, I’m glad my friends are more level-headed than I am. Becky & Rob, thanks for all you guys do and all you guys put up with from me. Jennifer, you’ve never hurt me. Thank you for checking in. I owe you an email times nine. Andy, thank you for checking in as well. All of you who offered your hugs–I do feel them and appreciate them. 🙂

You know, I hadn’t even skipped my medicine. Only God knows what I would have been like if I had!

I skipped The Grove tonight. Didn’t feel like being with a lot of people. Got to have some quality time with Becky which is always wonderful. Before that, I took a pain killer to help knock out this migraine and I slept. It felt great. I might do the same tomorrow, especially if this migraine isn’t all the way gone. I took four ibuprofen because I’m running low on the pain killers. I only want to save those for the heavy duty pain. Man, do I love the way I feel when those things kick in, though.

ANYWAY.

I got Anna Nalick’s CD today and I love every single bit of it. It’s going onto my iPod ASAP.

I’m going to finish my dinner and go to bed. G’night!

Mmmmm

I started this last night and forgot to actually post the darn thing! Note the edits. 🙂

Green tea Japanese incense. It smells so wonderful. I couldn’t burn the entire stick though, because Chris isn’t wasn’t feeling well and it’s it was irritating him. I did get enough, however. Mmmm.

Saw Stomp tonight last night with Rob, Tyler, and Becky. It was okay, I expected more noise, though. I think Aidan would definitely enjoy it, if he were sitting up close. Tyler and I arranged to get the tickets through Nationwide Activities, since I work there, I got a discount. But they made a huge snafu. I kept asking Tyler if they’d sent him the tickets (he was the billing address) and he never got them. We got to the box office and there were no tickets for us. Tyler and I both had confirmations, and they looked me up. The company had never printed ANY of the Nationwider tickets! So, the lady did some stuff on the computer, noted Tyler’s crutches*, and gave us seats on the orchestra level instead of the mezzanine, where we were originally going to go. So it worked out anyway.

Afterwards, we went eat a Chipotle and McDonalds. 🙂 Tyler tripped up the stairs on the way to the car from the Palace Theatre. I’d been keeping an eye on him, and I looked away for a second and down he went. Poor guy. Hopefully he’ll be off of those crutches soon. Although watching him hop around and also try to hobble away as quickly as possible everytime Rob “threatens” him is hilarious.

* Tyler is fine, no injuries. He had minor foot surgery last Tuesday and is obviously doing well.

Tomorrow is Today was back to normal for me. I do miss Disney, but I finally have one of those cool Mickey Mouse antennae toppers on my car! 🙂 It looks so cute, but it makes my attennae flop around a bit. ‘Tis okay, though.

Ugh, crappy weather. Rain and cool. 🙁 Can’t wait til summer. Pretty soon, eh?

Alright then. I’m off to I slept in the guest room because Chris is was not wearing his CPAP mask due to his cold which means TRIPLE THE SNORING.

So yeah. I’m ganking the neighbor’s internet because mine is down somehow. :

I spend 9 days with DIAL UP and I come home to 1.0 mbps from my neighbor’s LAME router. Boohoo. Time to go troubleshoot, just when I was going to clean for once.

Let me tell you how much fun it is to drive your two-year old son and make fart noises with your mouth together. Classic, good times. 😀
