Ooo, check me out!

A long time ago, I’d come up with a pitch sentence for the current novel I’m kindasorta shopping around. I posted it on a board for a workshop but somehow never saved it to my hard drive. Of course, the board lost the pitch sentence and I’d been fumbling around trying to recall it for months.
Well, I was browsing around on Sarah Dessen’s website and came across her page on one of her books: This Lullaby. She talks about how others seem to come up with pitches a lot easier than the actual author–and I remembered the feelings I got when I finally came up with the sentence for my novel. Everything came flooding back and BAM. I had my pitch sentence again. I hurried and wrote it down and emailed it to myself before I forgot.
This is instrumental. If someday I make it to a writer’s conference (and my book hasn’t sold yet), I’ll have my pitch. Excellent.

– Didn’t get any writing done this weekend due to sleeping off horrid migraine;
– Still dealing with migraine. Albeit much milder, but the threat is still there for more. π
+ Hanging with Jennyfoo, Holly, Robert;
+ “Your booty is so ti-ight!”;
+ Baked beans;
+ Aidan’s new cute voice;
+ Aidan’s soft little cheeks that I can’t stop kissing;
+ Chris taking Aidan to church so I could get more sleep to try to combat aforementioned migraine;
+ Getting laundry put away. Finally.
Meep. I need to go to sleep.
Did you know that if you ingest 80-90 Tylenol (40-45 doses) in a very short amount of time, you can die? The problem with acetaminaphin poisoning is that it takes hours and hours for symptoms to show. By the time they show, the poison has destroyed the kidneys so much that stomach pumping is useless and death is pretty much imminent. Scary thought, huh? And it’s not as if the person goes to sleep peacefully. The person is in dire pain until the very end. π I never would have thought to kill myself with Tylenol, but apparently it’s possible and it’s not fun. π
But anyway. Wow, this is a Yo-Yo entry, no?
Here are the PostSecrets I can relate to (make sure you wait for all of them to load!):

PostSecret is amazing this week.
I can relate to at least two of them. Can you guess which ones?

What a weird day.
Firstly, I slept in the guest room because Chris didn’t turn on his CPAP machine. I was awakened by him and Aidan, and I had the worst migraine ever. I went back to sleep while Chris took Aidan to the store.
They got back a little after noon, and I got up and showered. I really wanted to sleep some more, but I had an appointment at one. The appointment was amazing and is the first step to financial freedom for me. IF I can stick to the program, and I will be needing some serious prayer to do that.
During the appointment (it was in our home), Aidan climbed up on the island and decided to be extra cute:
After she left, I played on the computer again for a while, Craig and Aidan played, Chris watched Golden Girls, and I finally couldn’t take the pain anymore and went up to bed. I slept for hours again, and got up to check my email. My head was POUNDING. Rob had left an IM telling me to go to Tyler’s for a movie. I lotioned up, pulled my hair back, threw on my glasses, grabbed a bottle of ibuprofen and headed over. Becky was there and they were waiting for me before they started the movie “Walking Tall.” It was a good movie. Especially because The Rock is bloody HOT.
After the movie, my headache calmed down. May have had something to do with the four ibuprofen I took and the pizza rolls Rob, Becky, and I shared.
Rob and the Lazy Boy had a few issues:
Rob and Tyler started violently throwing things at each other. Too bad the picture doesn’t capture it, but this is in the middle of a particularly violent (or not so much) tossing of an Auto Mart magazine. See previous picture. The book Rob is reading exsists no more. Also, some stinky Dry-Erase markers got hurled as well. Tyler ran for his life at that one.
Rob decided that Tyler needed to do a photo shoot. Rob is a very ambitious photographer and wanted to get the best shots possible. Check out the lengths he goes through to make sure he gets the perfect pose:
I’m kind of interested to see how the pictures will come out. And despite what it looks like, they really aren’t gay or dating or likewise. π
