WAH! Even though none of those are my county, two of them are right next to me and THIS IS DEPRESSING. 🙁
It’s been a while since I’ve updated, yes? So, I’ll try to do a quick recap from since I last wrote:
Tuesday: The Grove. I love helping with the Power Point up in the sound Mezzanine. Rob was there (grin), and dude, the slides presentation was FLAWLESS. Christie and I kick butt. 🙂 I have so much fun helping her with that–putting all the slides into one presentation, rushing to make sure everything works correctly. It’s awesome.
After The Grove, Rob, Tami, Kim, Emily, Bizzy, Tyler, and I went to Steak and Shake. Tyler got really mad because he forgot to ask them to leave the sauce and tomatoes off of his chicken melt thingy. Rob had a Lime Freeze because he can’t have milk/ice cream. Tami and Kim shared all of their food and some with me, even. Actually, it was really neat, the three of us reaching here and there. I had Strawberry Shortcake plus Tyler’s cherry. It was okay. My drink was yummy though. Sprite with cherry syrup. 🙂
The waiter came over with ALL of our drinks and the tray shifted just right (or WRONG actually) and CRASH went Tyler’s shake to the floor! He made a huge mess, but it was all good. We were nice to him; but he was really hard on himself. We kept telling him not to worry about it, blah blah blah. Good times, again. 🙂
Wednesday: Picked up my new glasses. They look cute. I was glad to have them because I couldn’t wear my contacts due to allergies. 🙂 No one noticed that I’d switched glasses, though.
Craig and Rob came over for dinner. Chris cooked hamburgers on the grill and we had Crescent rolls and tator tots. It was so much fun. Rob and I got into a good conversation as usual. Nice times for sure. I was up too late, though. I was extremely worn out on Thursday. 🙁
Thursday: Um….hmm. I can’t remember, so I must not have done anything spectacular. Oh, actually, I think I just went home and relaxed with Aidan. Right. I was so tired, so I went to bed really early and Aidan slept with me. He was so cute. He opened the door and climbed into bed with me and kept patting my cheek. I love when he does that. At one point, I woke up in the middle of the night and there was Chris, me, Aidan, and Lucy in the bed. Thank goodness it’s king-sized.
Friday: Took 1/2 day off from work and went to the doctor. Then I got some groceries and picked up Aidan. He was sleeping but he woke up in a good mood YAY! We came home and I cleaned because I was having GUESTS! 🙂 Rob, Josh, Becky, and Tyler came over for dinner and a movie. We had spaghetti, green beans, Texas toast, and French Silk pie for dessert. Tyler didn’t like the spaghetti much–it may have had too much flavor, hahaha. We watched Legally Blonde and played on our computers. Becky brought her new laptop, and Rob had HIS laptop and Tyler had a field day on MY laptop. 🙂
We’re such nerds.I had a good time.
I love Friday nights with my friends. 🙂 Actually, I love spending time with them any night, or day or whenever. I heart my friends! 😀
I guess today Chris wants to go to the Air Force Museum. I’m not really feeling that, so maybe he and Aidan can go and I’ll chill here.
I’ve been slowly cleaning the house; room by room really. It’s so big (for me) that it’s overwhelming to even think of cleaning the whole thing at once. So all the rooms are pretty clean, but the master bedroom is a fall down mess again. That’s all my fault, it’s all my crap on the floor. Clothes, books, coats and other random things. Ack. Someday I’ll get it together.
The cats have been annoying me. At 5ish in the morning, they decide to either wrestle and make tons of noise, and if I shut them out, they paw the door until I open it. Grar. It’s quite obnoxious.
I’m tired. I should sleep more. It’s only 9:23. And it’s cold and rainy. Perfect day for me to stay inside, read some books, play on the computer, maybe start a scrapbook? and just relax. I really don’t want to go anywhere at the moment, so maybe Chris and Aidan will go off and enjoy themselves together. We’ll see.
