happy

I have discovered the iTMS radio. And it is good.

Today when I got Aidan home, he kept whispering “cookie.” So I gave him some cookies. Then he pointed to the TV and said “People.” So now he’s watching Little People! πŸ™‚ He’s speaking more and more, yay!

I’m soooo sooo tired. I could do for a nice long nap. Luckily, Chris is home from work early tonight. I can accidentally fall asleep on the couch and not feel guilty. πŸ˜‰

I had my 90 day evaluation at the chiropractor’s today. She said there is a 40% improvement in my subloxation. Those results are not typical, so I’m doing really well! I know, healthwise, except for the not getting enough sleep/eating enough part, I’m feeling better. When I catch colds, I don’t stay sick nearly as long as I used to, and I use no medicine. Good times.

I am officially down to 105 pounds now. With clothes. Yippeeee! I totally SWIM in my size 6 pants from Old Navy. Maybe I should have asked for gift cards to clothing stores for Christmas. I’m running out of pants that fit!

Speaking of… I should do laundry at some point tonight.

I got my new Tiffany necklace yesterday! Only one week after I sent in my broken one. I have no plans to take this one off much at all. No more risk of it breaking. I have how many of those pretty little blue boxes now?

I love Tiffany jewelry.

Wow. I actually feel happy today. This is a good thing! πŸ˜€ I’m going to wallow in the good feelings now. Later!

Love toilets…patent office reform…broken $300 digital cameras…mac vs pc…laughter…cell phone scare tactics…brownies…cuddly photos…random thoughts…heated discussions…rob songs…stories about weirdoes…smiles…amazing friendship.

Small group was awesome, as always. Tami led off with a discussion on missions, but it turned rather heated. My favorite kind of discussion. We can disagree, argue, whatever, but it’s always done with respect. I LOVE when Rob is there because I truly enjoy listening to him speak. I like learning how he thinks and how his mind works. I just wish his camera had worked properly with his computer, though. πŸ™ Tyler and I tried everything and it just would not work.

Some of the stories that were told tonight–honestly–kind of gross. But funny nonetheless. There was so much randomness and I hate that I can barely remember any of it!!!

I guess that’s okay, though. It was fun while it lasted. πŸ™‚

Mr. Matt joined us tonight. He’s added an entirely new dynamic to the group and I think it’s going to be mighty interesting in times to come.

I love my small group. Just thought I’d reiterate that. Over and over and so on and so forth. My small group is the best. πŸ˜€ I’m incredibly blessed.

Cheesy Grin

Thanks to Andy, I now have WIRELESS on my laptop. nappilyn, that’s what I got at Best Buy. Sweeeet birthday present, huh? AND he bought me blank CDs besides, AND he’s taking me to dinner. I know, my birthday isn’t til December, but so far I’ve already gotten awesome gifts. Las Vegas, wireless internet… what else is coming? *hint hint*

I have $65 in Reward Zone certificates from Best Buy. And I have another $5 coming since Andy paid for his stuff and they scanned my card. I hope I get it before Christmas. Chris’s mom is giving me $100 to Best Buy for Christmas. That’s $170! And if the grandparents and aunts and uncles go there, that’s another $65. $235 to Best Buy!!!! What will I do with all that???!?!?!? I hope Chris gets me one too. $25 would be cool. Oh man. I’d have sooooo much fun.

I <3 Best Buy. And Andy. πŸ™‚

She’s Happy!

As I was driving this morning, I noted how enjoyable and relaxing the Friday morning commute is. I think most people take Fridays off of work and school, so the freeways are so NOT clogged (Read that Chandler-style, please). I also like how in Powell the motorists (in general) are very polite compared to those in other parts of the Columbus area.

OH MY GOSH. iVY will be here in 14 days!!! I can’t believe it. It’s coming so quickly. TWO WEEKS, suckahs!! And I get to spend a week with one of my best friends. WEEEEE!

I’m going to take her to First Watch and Morrone’s. And we’re going to bake lots of goodies and eat lots of yummy stuff and watch movies and hang out and talk. I can’t wait to see her!!

I miss Kelly P. Seeing her only 10 minutes a week after church IS NOT ENOUGH. Dang it.

I need a Kelly P fix stat. I have a fever, and the only cure is Kelly P. Oh, somebody bring me some water!

Someone else please stop me from eating hamburgers (prepared various ways) for at least 2 weeks. I’ve eaten 8 hamburgers over the past week and a half and I have a feeling that is not normal. BUT, none of them was McDonalds. I’m in Day 10 of my McDonald’s fast, and it has been good.

I still find myself desiring to purchase a laptop. My counselor told me to make a list of 10 (enjoyable) things I could do to distract me from wanting to make myself happy with *another* big ticket purchase. Lord knows I don’t need another. Since October 2003, I have purchased a new desktop computer, a car, a guitar, and an iPod.

So, click below to see my list of things to do once I feel the urge to go to Best Buy and whip out the cute little yellow card that will give me no interest for 12 months:

Stuff To Do Other Than Go To Best Buy
