Broadband is back, but LAN is down. The routers seem to have freaked out again. Must call on Andy for help STAT.
Went to Best Buy to get the camera I wanted AND THEY WERE SOLD OUT. WAH. I have to go back again in a couple of weeks and hope they have it, or something simliar.
Picked up a few good finds and Barnes & Noble, and Dave sent me a DVD of old stuff. Can’t wait to check it out.

Thank God my in-laws are kind enough to let me use their computer and their broadband. 🙂 And give me food too. Mmm, chicken and noodles.
Going shopping in a bit–Best Buy anyone??? 😀 Those gift cards are buring holes in my pocket and a new digital camera wants to come home with me!!! *Giggles uncontrollably*

I love shopping on “Black Friday.” There are so many great deals, the stores are all festive and pretty, and the energy in the crowds. I got a late start. I didn’t get to Easton until around 11:30. But I found a parking spot right away and off I went.

I got Christmas cards, but the one box smells like strong cologne. And it was open in the store. I counted all the cards and made sure they were there because it was the only box left of that particular style I wanted. But now this cologne smell. Very unsettling. I probably won’t send most of those after all. 🙁 Fortunately, I bought 2 boxes of cards, though. 😀
Tomorrow, we go and get Aidan. Although I missed him, I loved the break. I loved having no responsibility. Sleeping whenever I wanted. SHOPPING without having to lug him in and out of the car seat. That was awesome. But tomorrow, it’s back to reality. Oh well.

Me, who used to be a hard core “I’m NEVER camping” type of gal has gone TWICE this year already. What is the world coming to?
Last night, we continued the celebration of Rob’s 21st birthday with an overnight camping trip at Alum Creek State Park. Rob had an awesome (heated!) camper. There was a campfire, pizza, more food, shenanigans, smack talk, and singing and music. Lovely times. Becky, Kelly, Garth, Tyler, and I were the participants, along with Rob, of course. Can I reiterate how much I love hanging out with Rob?
There were a lots of crazy quotes, but these few come to mind. Proceed with caution.
Rob: Kiss my ass.
Kelly: Okay.
Rob (hopeful look): Really?
Rob: Hey Garth. How many skin cells do you think covers your entire body?
Rob: I’m on that bitch like a $2 ho.
Tyler (at random and with a wide, proud smile): Want a granola bar???
Becky: Mmm yeah, about that…?
Rob (to Tyler): You’re looking post-coital.
Don’t ask me why Rob knows what Tyler looks like “post-coital.” It’s kind of disturbing…

Rob took 8574892357489578493579 pictures with his digital camera the past 2 nights. I hope to hook up with him Tuesday and get them from him. Then I’ll post my favorites. With his permission, of course. 🙂
I woke up this morning at 7:45 and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I stayed up and wrote poetry and journaled for 2 hours (while Rob, Becky, and Tyler slept) until my eyes started to droop. So I slept for 30 minutes until Tyler woke all the way up, thereby waking me (the eternal light sleeper) up.
Woo. I’m tired, and there is so much to do today still. A $25 gift card to JC Penny has been found. Chris says it’s not his, but I think it is. So, since there are $25 extra dollars to spend, I’m going to buy a sweater, I think. Mmm, yes. Defintely need a new sweater.
But first, I need a nap. So there I go. Later! 🙂
P.S. I got a $150 gift card to Best Buy in the mail. Now I have $215 to spend there. Plus the $100 I’m getting for Christmas. Mmyeah, I think an iTrip might be in my future….

Chris cut Aidan’s hair. 🙁 I now have a lump of really cool curls that are waiting to go in a scrapbook. *sigh* I wanted to grow it very long just to see what it would do. Boooooo.

Church was very good today. I sat with Bizzy otaku_witch, and Emily yoimemily was there too! Tyler and Joshua were behind me. The service was weird, because it wasn’t a typical service. A couple of testimonies and a video about the church expansion. The pastor is very excited about this whole endeavor. I can’t imagine how much the church will grow once it’s all finished.
It is so cold! Winter will be here before I know it. I’m so not looking forward to the cold temperatures or driving in the snow. But oh well.
I went to Target today. Picked up a new CD and another pair of headphones for my iPod. I lost my little bud ones; not that I liked them anyway. My ears are so small that bud headphones never stayed in properly without wedging them in and causing some pain. I got some neat sports ones.
I don’t have too much to say at this point. I think I’m going to go to bed. I’m tired of practically falling asleep at work every single day. I need my rest. Good night! 🙂
