YEAH BABY!

I did the prepay prints at Snapfish. 15 cents per print! Now I can order pictures and FINALLY get my Friends Scrapbook done started. πŸ˜€

Next, I’m going to pre-order Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I think, once I finish The Second Summer of the Sisterhood and Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, I’m going to start reading the Harry Potter series again. I should be done in time for the next book, no? πŸ™‚

Woo. Just loaded a bunch of music on to my iPod, good things good times.

Now, I’m hungry. REALLY hungry for some spaghetti. πŸ˜€ I want to go and get food but it’s snowing outside. Snowing snowing snowing. I’ll probably be late to work tomorrow. Stupid weather and stupid snow. Bah. I can’t wait til summer. I have a feeling it’s going to be even more fun than the last–cause I’ll have Rob, Becky, Bizzy, and Emily to hang out with! πŸ˜€ (And other people too!)

Okay then. Off I go to order stuff. YAY for getting packages in the mail. YAY for funness. YAY for payweek, and YAY for tomorrow being Friday. Especially YAY for no staff meeting!! WOOHOO.

Now I need food. πŸ˜›

I’m A Shopping Fool!

Tonight, I went straight to Easton from work because I knew I’d be meeting Megan (megnita) there later. She called as I was parking and said she could come early. YAY. I shopped a bit before she got there. In Wet Seal, they had shawls on sale for $4.99 each, marked down from $35. I got two, a black one and a white one. I’m ALWAYS cold, so I figured I could use them year round.

I went to Bath and Body Works, where they had restocked some of my favorite scent (the one they’re discontinuing – Night Blooming Jasmine) for the sale bins. Only this time, there was more than shower gel. I got some body cream, lotion, and body spray and a few more shower gels. I need to stock up before they’re all gone!

Then I headed to The Gap, where I went to look for a coat. I went in, not really expecting to find any, and if I did, expecting to spend $70 for one. Well, get this folks. I found the exact one I wanted for $35. THEN I looked down and saw The Warmest Jacket. In PINK. I grabbed it and thought “I’ll get two coats for what I was planning on paying for one!” Mind you, I’d forgotten about my 30% discount at this point. I went up front to pay (and that’s when Megan came in!) and I realized The Warmest Jacket was only $29. TOTAL, with my discount? A little over $47. All the frustration in finding a coat? WORTH IT. I’m very happy now. πŸ˜€

But I wasn’t done. I ate dinner with Megan at Max & Ermas and it was very yummy (and didn’t make me sick tonight!) She got tortilla soup, I got the chicken parmesan meal. For dessert, we split a big-ass piece of chocolate cake. Yumm. I drank three glasses of lemonade.

After dinner, she and I braved the rain drops and headed to Express. I had a gift card and wanted to use it! THEY were having a sale too!! Red signs everywhere. I got two pairs of editor pants–one pink, the other beige, a sweater, a pair of earrings, and a tank top. πŸ™‚

Megan and I said our goodbyes (I was sad to see her go, I truly had a wonderful time with her and can’t wait to hang out with her again!) and then I went to Target. I got the CUTEST alarm clock. It looks like a retro radio. My old clock–I’d had it for ten years and Aidan poured juice on it, rendering it useless. I was so sad. But I like my new clock! It’s so cool. I also got this neat book called Girls Rule by Ashley Rice. It’s full of inspirational tidbits and self-esteem boosters and God knows I could always use some of that. Plus, it’s PINK! It’s meant for younger girls and teens, but oh gosh. I think it’s great for all women. I mean…my gosh, it’s like she watched me and picked out the words to say, plopped them in a book, then put that book in my path when I was strolling Target today. Amazing.

I got a lot of pink stuff today.

Well, I think I’m going to relax and dork around a bit. Later, folks!

So much to do, so little time…

I went to Kohl’s today, anticipating purchasing a new wool coat. My current one is a few years old and there are holes developing all over.

I came out of Kohl’s with everything BUT a coat. (The one I liked; they didn’t have in my size). They are having the most amazing sale. A million things in the store are buy one get one free. Candles, photoalbums, picture frames, towels, rugs, luggage, jeans, shirts just to name a few. And what isn’t buy one get one free is buy one get one half off. Or some percentage off. Christmas items are 80% off! I got a $30 table runner for $6! And there are clothes for 70% off. I got a $40 sweater/scarf/hat/mittens set for $12. And another sweater for $7.

I had a blast there. I LOVE Kohl’s, which is why I don’t go there often. That place is DANGEROUS.

Today at work, my boss gave me a document to edit. He asked me to come into his office and point out exactly what I edited and I could tell he was totally impressed. I know more and more that my true calling needs to be in the English/writing field, not secretarial.

I have a long day tomorrow. Work all day, chiropractor, Craig’s, then The Grove and whatever adventures await when that’s over. Wednesday, Aidan heads up to see his grandmommy for a week. Early Thursday morning I drop Craig and Chris off at the airport and then I’m person-responsibility free for a week! Woohoooo! πŸ˜€

Things to do:

– call Mommy
– put away laundry
– call Irena
– answer 10 emails
– hang out with Becky at least once more before she goes back to school
– play DDR
– write, write, write!

I must admit, I am a bit jealous. Chris gets to stop in Vegas during his trip. VEGAS, I tell ya. Weinerschnitzel is there. I’ve been craving that place. Mmm, yummy hotdogs. Yummy Bellagio food. Yummy SHOPPING.

Good night.

BMG

BMG is a dangerous place.

I just went and FINALLY paid my bill from I don’t even know how long ago. Once it processed, I got a nice little screen saying “Now you can pick a free CD!” A paid in full bonus? Seriously, if they offer incentives to get you to pay in full after being probably 18 months past due, then I should make my BMG bills past due more often.

Nah. I don’t like having that hanging over my head.

As I checked my shopping cart, I realized I had six more free CDs to redeem. I redeemed them. Now I’m getting lots of music in 10-14 business days. πŸ˜€ My iPod will be busy. Which reminds me, I still need to load Kelly Clarkson on that baby.

But there is that shipping and handling thing BMG has going on. Which is why I’m getting music in 2 weeks as opposed to a few days. The last time I paid for express/next-day shipping, we got a mother winter storm and nothing came on the days they were supposed to!

Still a good deal, though. I paid $31.50 and I’m getting 7 CDs and a 2-disc set. Can’t beat that with a stick.

YAY for music!

Tired & Stuff

Went to Aurora yesterday. It was fun. Got great things from Mommy and Greg–a Mickey Mouse anniversary clock, a bath basket set, a teeshirt, bath stuff, plaques, and the $100 gift card. Aidan was SPOILED. He got a bike! He loves it, too! πŸ™‚ We went to the outlet stores at Aurora Farms and I got a few things at Gap–a new scarf, hat and glove set, and some nail polish. Oh and a cute new purse too. I used my $25 gift card and only had to pay $14 out of my account.

I woke up this morning intending to go to church. Then Aidan woke up and started crying. So Chris went and got him, and Aidan wanted to cuddle with me. So I did! πŸ™‚ Then I changed his diaper and decided not to go to church. I’d even put my pajamas back on. So Aidan and I cuddled in the bed for a while. But then he turned back to normal Aidan and I was able to go. While I was getting ready, Bizzy otaku_witch called and said she’d meet me at church. WooHoo, I love hanging with her!!! πŸ™‚ In short, I was pretty late to church, but got enough out of the message. Bizzy, Katie live4himalways, and I went to lunch at Burger King, then Bizzy and I shopped for a bit. I got 2 pairs of running pants, a shirt, 4 camis, and a bag. I LOVE shopping. πŸ˜€ And I LOVE Bizzy!!!

Went to Chad & Christy’s for dinner–we had a yummy spaghetti bake thingy. Chad’s parents were there. They’re sooo funny. Especially the story about “f*cky kitty.” Ha ha ha! I fell asleep there. I do that a lot, their couches are so comfortable. Aidan was sleeping on me, which was awesome. I love when he sleeps on me!! πŸ™‚ Right now, he’s “playing” a computer game. It’s so cute. He’s loving it, and learning his letters in the process. OOo, now I want to buy him more games! πŸ™‚ He’s so adorable, sitting at the computer and smiling! I <3 Aidan! πŸ™‚ So, I wonder what I am going to spend my Best Buy cards on? I think I have about $125 dollars left. Hmmm. I was thinking DVDs or CDs or something. I don't know. We'll see. I have a slight headache and a backache too. I think I need to get a tremendous amount of rest. But I don't know when that will happen. I'm so busy and full of mental energy and dealing with something sort of stressful and very personal so all of that is kind of taking its toll on me and dang it, I need to take my medication. Tomorrow, I have to do laundry. Oh brother. SO MUCH LAUNDRY. Lord, help me. Also, Irena is coming over to eat spaghetti and hang out, and I'm looking forward to that! πŸ™‚ I AM SO HAPPY I DON’T HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW!

This was one of my horoscopes from yesterday:
Some are optimistic, but you feel only exhaustion. Your reach is still long, but your arms are tired. Maybe you don’t have to run such a big empire. Relax your grip and let some of it slide through your fingers.

HAHA, how true was that? I wonder if the horoscope writers read my livejournal? Heh. I doubt it, but it’s still pretty funny.

I have lots of pictures to upload again. Should be fun.

That’s it for now. Byeeee!
