Conversations with Aidan

Ronni: Do you like to hold Grandmommy’s cheek?
Aidan: Yes. I love her.
Ronni: You love Grandmommy?
Aidan: Yes. She’s always fat.
Ronni: What? That’s not a nice thing to say!
Aidan: She is. She eats a lot of food!!!

Eep!

Big Brother

I know I’m a day late, but WHAT IN THE FRESH FUCK HAPPENED????

The worst possible person EVER to get Head of Household is BACK in that room? NO FAIR.

*stomps stomps stomps*

It’s really not fair.

Shit. Erika and Dani are up. I like them both. Erika is part of CHILLTOWN, and y’all know how I love me some Chilltown. Dani is just funny to watch, and she looked so pretty in her dress the one day.

Will and Boogie are still safe–this is a good thing. I love Will’s shirt, the one that says “I’m probably lying.”

But GAH. WHY Janelle? HoH, again?????

I am interested in the new power, and if they have a veto competition, I wonder who’ll get it, and if that person will take anyone off the block. I guess we’ll see.

Ahh. Big Brother All Stars.

ETA: Spoilerish

Book Meme

I saw that Sarah Dessen (writergrl) did this, and since I LOVE her, I want to do it too. YAY.

1. One book that changed your life. I have to say Dark Angel by V.C. Andrews. I read that book, and the characters got under my skin so much. I just had to write that way.

2. One book you’ve read more than once. Just one? All right. Let me think. How about Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews.

3. One book you would want on a desert island. This meme is torturous. I guess it’d be Dark Angel.

4. One book that made you laugh. The entire Georgia Nicholson series has me in stitches.

5. One book that made you cry. Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. I cried and cried when I read it.

6. One book you wish had been written. Anything by Sarah Dessen. The woman is brilliant.

7. One book you wish had never been written. ….

8. One book you are currently reading. I’m reading Feed by M.T. Anderson.

9. One book you have been meaning to read. White Teeth by Zadie Smith. Someday, my friends. Someday.

10. Tag five people. Nah.

Ohio State Fair (Lots of Pictures)

Good Times, Good Times...

‘Twas a very pleasant day for the fair. The weather was perfect, the skies were blue and sunny. There was a nice breeze, and although it was crowded, it was still fun.

Welcome to the Fair

I’ll tell you what, having a wristband makes hitting the rides so much easier. I was sufficiently dizzy by the end of the night. Until I ate, that is.

The first thing Bob and I rode was something called the Space Roller.
