Earlier this week, I noticed that my desktop computer was making a horrible grinding noise. Scary stuff, that. I opened it and sprayed the fans, but the noise didn’t stop. It started to sound like a fan that something was caught in. I wasn’t sure what the deal was, but sure that my computer was going to blow up at any moment, I sent a bunch of stuff to the F drive to back things up. Then, I enlisted some help from the trusty Andy, and went on to do some more investigative work. The sound was coming from the fan on the video card. Eek. No problem, though. I still had my $85 in Best Buy Reward Zone bucks, and the new video card was $82. How awesome, right? 🙂

Now my computer is nice and silent once more. 🙂

I’m so glad I’m not one of those people who are afraid to open their computers and shake things up a bit. I’ve been opening my computer, installing cards and things for years. It’s nice to have that independence.

Today, I didn’t have a pleasant time at Best Buy. 🙁 Getting there was a pain–I didn’t have much gas, and then there were detours and traffic. My head was POUNDING, I couldn’t find my cell phone, and someone in the car stereo section decided to blast one of the stereos. My head wanted to explode. I went outside when I was done and found my cell phone lying beside my car. Eeeeek. It must have fallen out of my car when I got out. Yikes.

Had dinner with Megan at Max & Erma’s (she paid), and that was cool.

My hair looks a hot mess. Seriously, it is JACKED up.

Big things in the works. Scary and exciting all at the same time. Am I ready? I have to be.

Last night, I drove to the bank to deposit a check, then I went to Meijer to pick up something for dinner last night and something for lunch today. Here are a few weird things I noticed:

· Michelina Zap-Ems were still $1 each, but the Michelina Budget Gourmets were now 69cents! Eh????
· A Hungry-Man dinner really isn’t THAT big.
· The chicken in a Hungry-Man frozen dinner tastes really good with the brownie in the Hungry-Man dinner.

I’m so glad it’s Friday. I’m going to take a pain killer and go to bed. I’ve had this horrible headache on and off today. And now I have an earache too. *sigh* I really want to collapse, but SOMEONE little and cute thinks he’s a monkey and that I’m a tree. : That same cute little person/monkey will NOT go to bed. Grumble.
