Saturday Was Fun

Hola!

I had such a fun Saturday. It started off okay, with Aidan waking up in an awesome and adorable little mood. Then I played on the computer a little bit; loaded some songs into my iPod. We went to Lowe’s where Chris and I got into an argument about money, but we worked it out. After Lowe’s, we went to Target, where I got the cutest little plush Elmo chair for Aidan. I picked up some necessities, and some not so necessities for 25 cents a piece! I got 2 journals, 2 notebooks, and a jumprope. All for a quarter each. I was quite happy about that!

After Target, we went to David’s place to hang out. Lauren was there! She showed us ultrasound pictures, but baby had his/her legs crossed. No secrets revealed there. I got to meet David’s friend Jill and a couple of other people. Good times. Then we went to Chad and Christy’s. That was fun. Jen*Jen met us there, and we ate food, watched Mystery Science Theater 3000, and then Chad and Christy and Chris and I went upstairs to talk. It was really amazing. Chad and Christy are awesome friends. Very generous, a lot of fun, kind, and great to talk to. I think Jen liked them! 🙂 Then Chris went downstairs with Aidan, and Abby showed up. She came upstairs and talked, but not before Christy and I got to have some girly time together and talk to each other.

We got home about 20 minutes ago and I’m pretty tired. Church looks to be busy this Sunday. I will try to make it to Sunday school. I’ll definitely make it to the 11:15 service, and maybe lunch afterwards. Then.. Jen*Jen is spending the night! YAY!!!!! I don’t have to work Monday, and I am really looking forward to seeing lamplamp on Monday.

Going back to work Tuesday is going to be so hard. Especially since my To Do list for next week is already more than 1/2 marked off. But I have a fairly big project to do–most of it is done already, though! Hopefully the week will go by quickly. Each day brings me closer to when iVY will be here!!!

Kelly P is home. Now I can breathe more easily. 🙂

Sleepover

Last night, Kim and Tina came and slept over. It was a nice, mellow time. Tina brought her new laptop and we played with Lord of the Rings stuff, and then Tina and I ripped CDs! Kim and I ate roast beast sandwhiches and Sun Chips while Tina ate canteloupe. We went to Meijer and checked our blood pressure and weight. 🙂 I played my guitar and my fingers REALLY hurt now.

This morning, I made blueberry muffins and tator tots for breakfast, and then after Tina and Kim left, I went back to bed. But I didn’t fall asleep before the power went out! Of course, there is that moment of panic: Did we pay the electric bill? Did I blow a fuse? Then I heard the neighbor yell “DID YOUR POWER GO OUT?” and I knew I was okay. Warm (no fans!) but okay.

So, my mom called at about 1:30pm. I’d JUST woken up and reset the clock. But I’m an idiot when it comes to reading analog watches sometimes, so I thought it was 12:30. So now, I desperately need a shower. Talk to you folks later!

Stuff

It’s Friday and I’m so happy! Albeit confused. I have no idea if there will be a Damascus worship tonight. I do love those so. But if there isn’t one, then I’m heading to Mike & Molly’s to play games, I think. We’ll see. The day is young (sort of). Anything can happen. I just wish someone would tell me what the banana is going on tonight as far as worship goes!!

Hmm. I suspect one of the secrets I knew has finally come to pass….

Anyway. It’s Friday, and it’s gorgeous outside. My TO DO list has all but one thing checked off on it (and that thing takes only 3 minutes to do). I’m restless and I want out of here! I want to be free for the weekend to have fun and stuff!! Oh GOSH. Time is crawling by.

Monday, they are closing part of the road I take to work. This means another 10 minutes or so tacked on to my commute. Not good. *sigh* Oh well.

I found Balderdash at Toys R Us last night. Now, I need to find Beyond Balderdash and I’ll be happy. But for now, Balderdash will do. I’m excited. Next game night, we are so playing it. Everyone is ready for a change from Scattegories.

So, it’s Friday. It’s Friday and it’s beautiful and I’m RESTLESS. I want to go HOME! I want to see all the new stuff Chris bought at Lowe’s on clearance. That fink is at Red Lobster with Craig, and I’m sitting here, ready to get out of here!!

Neither of my bosses are here. One took 1/2 day to play golf. The other is with his family. And here I sit, with one thing left to do, and hours til quitting time. WAH.

I’m not really complaining. Just hyper for some reason. Probably because of the other secret I know. 🙂

Move faster clock. Til I’m home for the weekend. Then SLOW TO A CRAWL. YEAH.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Had tons of fun today. I love the Maxwell’s pool and hot tub. 🙂 Didn’t like it that Chris got us lost, though. But that’s okay. Sunday was fun, as usual. I’m all sunscreeny and chloriney, plus Aidan vomitted in my hair. I’m tired and in desperate need of a shower. In addition, my contacts NEED to come out. So, I’m outtie. Later, y’all! 🙂

Yes, I had an awesome Sunday, as usual. Part of the reason is that I got to spend time with people I’m crazy about. I went to Sunday school, and then service. After church, the group had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings (formerly known as BW3), and then a bunch of us met at Craig’s parents for a party. We played in the pool, lounged in the hot tub (mm, glorious hot tub), and watched Harry Potter. I also got some sunbathing in. I’m anxious to see how golden I am. 🙂 Where we were–that was Luke Perry’s hometown. Craig showed us the 1984 year book, and sure enough, he was in there. He’d gotten biggest flirt!!! Figures. Heh. Good times, good times. On the way home, Chris took a wrong turn in Mt. Vernon and we got lost. Tacked another 30 minutes onto a 45 minute trip. : But I’m home now, so that’s all that matters.

I’m trying to think of what else happened today? I guess that’s all. So, with that, I’m going to hop in the shower, then head to bed. So, good night! I’ll answer emails and post pictures from this weekend soon, I promise! G’night!

P.S. Anyone have any ideas on what I should lead discussion on in this Wednesday’s small group? Eeep. Time to go and spend some time with God to find out!
