Aidan is back and is as cute as ever. He’s into everything and talking up a storm.
I missed him.
I still haven’t hugged and kissed him enough–but he’s kind of outgrowing that already. π I hope I get some good cuddle time in later! π

I’d been craving scrambled eggs for weeks now. This morning, I finally went down and got a ham, egg, and cheese croissant sammich. YUMMY. I ate it in seven minutes.
I miss Aidan! I want to hug him and squeeze him and feel him patting my cheek. But I know next week this time I’ll be crying for my freedom again. I will miss the lack of responsibilty once he’s back, don’t get me wrong. But not having him here for so long is weird. He’ll be back this weekend, though.
So I’d better enjoy doing nothing while I can!!
TO DO:
– locate checks or order new ones
– CD for mom in law
– download new music to iPod
– upload pictures to Snapfish (if it’ll let me!)
I think there is more, but darned if I can remember.
And Chris doesn’t like the ice wine. HAHA, YES! It’s all MINE!!!!! π
More later.

I went to Kohl’s today, anticipating purchasing a new wool coat. My current one is a few years old and there are holes developing all over.
I came out of Kohl’s with everything BUT a coat. (The one I liked; they didn’t have in my size). They are having the most amazing sale. A million things in the store are buy one get one free. Candles, photoalbums, picture frames, towels, rugs, luggage, jeans, shirts just to name a few. And what isn’t buy one get one free is buy one get one half off. Or some percentage off. Christmas items are 80% off! I got a $30 table runner for $6! And there are clothes for 70% off. I got a $40 sweater/scarf/hat/mittens set for $12. And another sweater for $7.
I had a blast there. I LOVE Kohl’s, which is why I don’t go there often. That place is DANGEROUS.
Today at work, my boss gave me a document to edit. He asked me to come into his office and point out exactly what I edited and I could tell he was totally impressed. I know more and more that my true calling needs to be in the English/writing field, not secretarial.
I have a long day tomorrow. Work all day, chiropractor, Craig’s, then The Grove and whatever adventures await when that’s over. Wednesday, Aidan heads up to see his grandmommy for a week. Early Thursday morning I drop Craig and Chris off at the airport and then I’m person-responsibility free for a week! Woohoooo! π
Things to do:
– call Mommy
– put away laundry
– call Irena
– answer 10 emails
– hang out with Becky at least once more before she goes back to school
– play DDR
– write, write, write!
I must admit, I am a bit jealous. Chris gets to stop in Vegas during his trip. VEGAS, I tell ya. Weinerschnitzel is there. I’ve been craving that place. Mmm, yummy hotdogs. Yummy Bellagio food. Yummy SHOPPING.
Good night.

I’d be frightened if I got chosen for What Not To Wear, but I can totally see it happening. Well, I don’t think my friends would ever turn me in, because they compliment me up and down on the things I wear. But I have a feeling the people on the show would tell me to stop dressing so “young” and try to get me to dress more “my age” and more “sophisticated.” Ew!
Although, I would not mind $5,000 for new clothes. Especially designer clothes.
Please, no one nominate me. Feel free to nominate Chris, however.
Today at church, someone told me I’m hot. This is the third time someone has told me that in the past 2 weeks. THEN she said that not only the girls think so. (!!) That’s so cool. Haha.
I’m hungry. And I’m sleepy. But dang it, if I take a nap now, I’ll never go to sleep tonight. And that is not a good thing.
Church was weird. I was sitting there absolutely fighting with myself. Wanting to reach out, CRY out to God, but not being able to, really. All I have to say is that Emily yoimemily is amazing and YES Emily I’m going to email you today, I PROMISE. Becky–you’re too great for words. Biz–thanks for looking out.
We have too many darn Girl Scouts in this neighborhood!! We’ve been solicited FIVE times this weekend. And I have a feeling there will be more. Now, I LOVE Girl Scout cookies, and I used to complain about never getting asked if I wanted to buy some. Well. Be careful what you ask for, eh?
Okay. I have tons of emails to answer. I should maybe get on those… or something. π
PS Armani Mania cologne smells AWESOME!

I cleaned the family room last night, and all of my efforts were in vain. Aidan got highly pissed at me and spent a good fifteen minutes or so throwing anything he could get his hands on. So the family room is a mess again. Bugger.
I couldn’t find my watch, so I’m wearing Aidan’s Bob The Builder watch. I also couldn’t find my work shoes, so I have on my $9 Champion shoes (pink & grey).
Today is so WEIRD.
I’m hungry and I think that McDs is the way to go for me today. ALTHOUGH Nibbles has mac & cheese and BBQ chicken sammiches. AND WEDDING SOUP! So yeah, forget McDs. I’m going to Nibbles. π
Had a bad dream this morning. π A bit on edge about some things. Meeting with boss #1 went okay today. Boss #2 is out of the office “getting the tsumani” out of his basement.
I can’t find my work ID. The master bedroom is a falldown mess.
Digressing a bit.
Is it healthy to go through life always expecting and dreading the worst, so that when something better happens, the relief is greater? ‘Cause that’s how I live and I’m not so sure if that’s the best way.
I’m in need of a Becky/Emily/Bizzy fix.
